[With Dai Shinto, Shen Jing, Shen Rin, and Others]+(At The Dirt Road)

It was early morning, and the carriage continued its usual journey.

Dai Shinto felt content after enjoying a home-cooked meal by Shen Jing, which the coachman and servant had both complimented, making Shen Jing happy.

As Shen Rin, still too young for solid food, was given small, tender pieces of meat, which he eagerly devoured.

His insatiable appetite made him a greedy little baby, and Shen Jing, unable to resist, spoiled him with even more.

And Dai Shinto silently hoped that Shen Jing wouldn't indulge their son too much again.

Minutes Later, The carriage came to a halt when the coachman noticed something ahead on the road.

Two carriages were blocked in a standoff, with people arguing loudly between them. Dai Shinto glanced up with an indifferent expression, taking in the situation.

The road was narrow and steep on either side, with sharp stones making it impassable for the carriages to pass.

Surrounding them was dense forest, offering no alternate route to this situation.

The confrontation seemed to have trapped both sides, and it was clear no one was going anywhere until the dispute was resolved.

Dai Shinto decided to step down from the carriage, his expression still calm and composed.

He turned to Shen Jing, who was sitting with their son, and instructed, "Stay inside with Shen Rin. I'll handle this."

Shen Jing nodded, his concern evident, but he trusted his husband's judgment. "Be careful," he said softly, his voice laced with quiet worry.

Above them, Orpheus the crow perched on the roof of the carriage, his feathers ruffling slightly in annoyance.

The constant, though not particularly loud, bickering from the two groups ahead irked him. It wasn't the volume that bothered him-rather, it was the incessant, pointless noise.

Orpheus fluffed up his wings, his sharp eyes narrowing. He could barely resist the urge to swoop down and peck the living daylights out of those arguing fools.

However he decided to fall asleep to escape the annoyance and block the sounds.

[With Dai Shinto]+(At The Carriage Standoff)

Dai Shinto approached the group engaged in a heated argument. A man stood with his wife (or mistress), while a young man was accompanied by two women.

The young man, using his sharp wit, accused the older man of crashing into their carriage, further escalating the tension.

However, the older man was no fool to the method of words and quickly recognized the young man's attempt to shift blame.

The two other coachmen from the separate carriages refrained from joining the heated verbal exchange.

They understood that intervening would only stir up more trouble, rather than help resolve the conflict.

The young man was on the verge of unleashing his Ki (Killing Intent) to intimidate the older man, but just as he prepared to do so, Dai Shinto arrived and calmly asked what was going on.

His presence immediately softened the tension in the air. The two women glanced at him briefly, then returned their attention to the young man, their expressions tinged with arrogance.
