Months have passed since that day where Esther and Sirius's engagement was out for the whole public. That didn't stop the Black to keep going around the school with many girls, his way of defying his parents. Esther spent many night with Emilia, and also many nights with Tiberius, she had grown close, knowing that they shared one terrible secret, a secret that was on each others forearms.

"Esther!" Emilia snapped at Esther, "As I was saying, party tonight." Emilia was sure the party animal. That was her way of showing her rebellious side.

"Must I go?" The blonde laid her head down on the table. "I don't see a point."

Emilia leaned closer, a playful smile on her lips. "Come on, Esther! You can't let him think he's won this battle. Plus, it's about time you had some fun. Just think about the last time you let loose. Remember how great it felt?"

Esther sighed, feeling a twinge of rebellion awaken within her. "Okay, I'll go. But only to prove a point."

"Perfect! Now let's get you ready," Emilia said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

As they prepared for the party, Esther felt a mix of dread and anticipation. The night ahead promised a chance to escape the weight of her reality, if only for a few hours.

The Room of Requirement throbbed with laughter and pulsating music, but for Esther, the atmosphere felt oppressive. She leaned against a wall, her gaze fixated on Sirius. He was engrossed in conversation with a Ravenclaw girl, his charming smile lighting up the room and igniting a tempest of emotions within her.

"Malfoy!" a voice called out, pulling her from her thoughts. Esther turned to find Sirius, flanked by a few girls, a cocky grin plastered on his face. He looked effortlessly charming, a stark reminder of why he was so hard to resist.

"Enjoying the party?" he asked, his tone teasing, as he approached her.

Esther felt her heart skip, but she quickly masked her reaction. "Just trying to survive the evening, Black."

Sirius leaned closer, lowering his voice. "You know, you could always make it easier on yourself and just leave with me."

Before she could retort, he grabbed her wrist and led her away from the crowd, guiding her toward a quieter corner of the room.

"Where are we going?" she asked, feigning annoyance even as anticipation fluttered in her stomach.

"Somewhere we won't be interrupted," he said, his eyes darkening with intensity.

As they reached a secluded alcove, he turned to face her, his expression shifting from playful to serious. "You're still my fiancée, whether you like it or not."

Esther could feel the tension crackling between them. "Sirius, I—"

Before she could finish, he pulled her closer, capturing her lips with his. The kiss ignited something deep within her, an electric rush that sent her senses spiraling. She melted against him, feeling the heat of his body and the intoxicating pull of their connection.

Sirius's hands tangled in her hair as he deepened the kiss, pushing her against the wall. Time seemed to freeze, the chaos of the party fading away until there was nothing but the two of them—lost in the moment.

But just as quickly as it began, Sirius pulled back, his breath heavy as reality crashed down around them. "What the hell are we doing?" he muttered, a hint of panic in his eyes.

"I... I don't know," Esther stammered, breathless. "This is wrong."

"You're right," he said, running a hand through his hair, clearly wrestling with his emotions. "I shouldn't have done that."
