Darkness surrounds this world more and more every day, souls are lost to it the more they suffer. The more they suffer the more darkness reigns. Humans and animals alike cannot survive in this world; unless they commit to darkness, gain power and live a cursed life.
How much must I sacrifice for power?
Another fallen one has appeared. Akio sends me to the south, an abandoned city lies in ruins; artifacts from another era of life, one much different than this one. I have been forced to lead a group of lower class demons on this mission; five total, all useless and mindless. They do not share their names nor do I ask for them; three of them take on a typical ogre-like form. The other two are some sort of hairy beasts with teeth.
Weak.
As we approach the city I am treated to a vast view of a field of skyscrapers placed closely to the center of the dead city. The fallen one lies at the center, slightly shorter than the hollow buildings surrounding it.
We travel nearer, about two blocks from the enormous beast; eyes blazing red, its body a silver tone, black hair hanging in knots from its misshapen head. This one possessed two mouths, one on top of the other. It remains still, hunched over onto its long arms; this one leaks a black substance from the holes in its chest and shoulders. One again it is sealed into the ground by the hips.
This fallen one looks a lot more dangerous than the first one.
My team of lower class demons roars as they charge the fallen. I watch in silence, offering them no warning as they sprint to their deaths. They are about twenty yard from the titan when it awakens, darkness erupting off its massive body. Both its mouths open releasing a massive amount of darkness that obliterates the demons charging as well as a good chunk of the city.
I wait to see if the fallen will return to its dormant state but grin as I notice its hollow eyes staring my directions. It somehow senses me. I spread my wings and take flight to the nearest skyscraper. I stand on the edge and peer down at the beast. It remains fixed on my last location but it seems confused now. I draw Orpheus quietly as I leap from the building and dive towards this monster.
