I remembered everything that happened yesterday clearly and I was also aware that I was to meet up with a certain Enrique today to be accessed if I was up to buying standards. Yeah it hurt but then again I was used to this kind of pain. The repetitive kind. It also came with the same measure just in different ways.

I got off and signed in with security at the firm and was at the elevator when someone tapped my shoulder and when I had turned she slapped me! Hard!
Her companion looked like she had tried her best to hold her back.
Now Anthony is a Nigerian so was Nimi and majority of their staffs were Nigerian. This was the first time one was slapping me.

She grabbed me out of the elevator
"You Ewaoluwakishikeesha you're a beast. God Himself will judge you. You go around bleaching and stealing people's men and now where are you going??
You're taking Sir's personal elevator to where?? Eh Keesha that man is married! He has a daughter too! So you're no longer a boyfriend snatcher but a husband snatcher too eh"
Her companion drew her back
"Capri she is not Keesha"
"Chiadikeobi lemme"
"Capri listen"
"Chi let go!"
She came forward and slapped me again. She was about to slap me the 3rd time when she changed her mind and decided to walk away.

I pulled her back and delivered 4 slaps on her face releasing all my anger from yesterday on her. She literally fell as my security arrived. Yeah I'm not famous for nothing.
"My name is Makiri Delano. You do not know me. I will make sure that I  haunt you down and make your life a living mess. Mark my words"
Only God knows where I got his new boldness from.
Her companion Chi shouted "Capri I told you she's not Keesha. She's Makiri Delano. The Makiri Delano!! She gats money!! Keesha on the other hand is probably on the 6th floor by now. You attacked the wrong person. Oya apologise!"
"Oh my God what have I done??" Capri said. I ignored her and focused on one of my security guards
"I want her sued for False accusations, Moral Defamation and Molestation"
"Ah Mogbe! You can't do that to me Makiri Delano abi Maggi Delano" Capri said.
I turned to her and raised a brow in amusement
"Violence without evidence; Ignorance is not an excuse in the court of law"
"Capri apologise na" Chi said frustratedly
"You're mad; all of you are mad" she said

"Consider this job lost!" Anthony said as soon as the elevator opened. Perhaps his security had informed him of what was going on
"If Keesha was here you'd fought with her I presume right Capri?? You should learn to keep your personal matters away from work"
She hissed.
Thank God Anthony arrived my confidence had wavered but with him here I felt so much more confident.
"Ezra"
"Ma'am"
"Add Reputational Damage and Derogatory remarks to the charges."
Then I turned to her
"We'll see in court and subsequently I'll see you in bars but unfortunately for you I'll be the one outside bars"
Anthony smirked probably as surprised at my confidence as I was
"Makiri this way" he gestured
I laughed and followed him as they took her away.

As we got into the elevator I apologized
"Anthony it was never my intention to cause a ruckus. She just slapped me and accused of things I'd never do and I didn't know when I-"
"I know I know. I realise you were wronged and I also realise that on the other hand I need a change of staff. As the saying goes 'one bad apple spoils the rest'"
We got to his office when I said
"Humans aren't apples Anthony. You of all people should know that."
We walked in and then I saw someone. When he turned......
"I didn't realise you had someone here Anthony. I'll-"
"Please Makiri Aundrei is more of a friend than a business partner please sit."
I nodded and sat.

He offered us some Coke and we gisted lightly. Well mostly them gisting and me listening and laughing occasionally.
Well technically Aundrei is a funny person and Anthony is also a funny person so having both of them in the same space what'd you expect?? It's a laughing galore.
Soon Anthony's secretary walked in informing him of some issues he had to attend to
"I won't take long I promise" he said as he left.
Then things became awkward.......
"Makiri we meet again"
"Well you said you wouldn't mind"
He smiled "You look Dashing"
"Thank you and you too"
"Stingy with compliments or shy??"
"More like not used to people"
He nodded "I understand. I wouldn't mind if we meet again tho. But I'm not so sure"

He seemed lost in thought making me remember that soon precisely 3 months to come I'd be married.
"Me too"

He was about to say something else when Anthony walked in
"I'll have to take my leave Ant. Hopefully we can talk more about the likelihood of the changes we're about to implement."
Anthony nodded in understanding and shook his hand but then he pressed it hard.
"Anthony you almost broke my hand!"
"What can I say I've got a tight grip. Also don't call me Ant." He had planned to sound scary but he ended up sounding constipated so we all burst into laughter.
Then he turned "Makiri"
I smiled and waved it off. He nodded in understanding and walked away. But it still seemed like his eyes were on me but when I turned he wasn't there.

"Makiri is that for me??"
I turned and realized he was referring to the box. Usually he just asks that when there's nothing there automatically forcing you to get him something. He can be so childish sometimes you know.
But once he said that I breathed to recollect my said and the mindset which made me get him this gift
"It's just a small gift. Stationary basically"
