You just got home from work, and now you were sitting at your makeup vanity removing your makeup.

After you finished, you decided to check on Jay, who was in the gym. You made yourself down the stairs; you went to the gym and opened the door.

"Hey Jay-"
You couldn't finish your sentence as you saw Jay, and he was playing with your guys 3-year-old son. Ayden.

As he was playfully using Ayden as weights, while you leaned against the door frame with a soft smile on your face.

Jay hadn't noticed you yet; he was just focused on spending some time with his son.

You watch as he chuckles, watching as his son held onto his arms, and he pretended that's he's lifting him up and down like a weight.

Eventually the little boy noticed you, but Jay hadn't just yet.

Ayden giggled and started to squirm in Jay's hold, and eventually spoke.
"Mama!"

Jay finally looked up to you, and with a smile on his face, he chuckled at your expression.
"How long have you been standing there?"

"A while," you say with a laugh.

He chuckled as well; he used his hand to ruffle Ayden's hair and set him down on the ground.

"Were you just watching our little fun session?"

Ayden looked up at you with a smile and came to cling to your leg.

You picked up Ayden, "Hi baby."

Ayden wrapped his arms around your neck and nuzzled his face into your shoulder.
"Hi mommy"

Jay smiled and approached you, placing a hand on your lower back and giving you a kiss on the forehead.

"I was going to ask what you boys wanted for dinner."

Ayden lifted his head and looked at you, and then up to Jay.
"I want. pizza." Jay chuckled and raised a brow as he looked at you, knowing that pizza was his favourite too.

"Baby, we can't have pizza every day," you pinched his cheek.

Jay laughed softly as Ayden pouted and tightened his hold on you, burying his face back into your neck.
"Come on, he's just a young boy; let him have his pizza."

You run your hand through his hair. "Jay, honey, you're only agreeing because you like pizza too."

He smirked as he watched you brush through Ayden's hair, and he chuckled when he was accused of just agreeing because of pizza.
"Well, I can't deny that; I'm a big fan of pizza. But look at how cute his little frown is; it can't hurt."

"We had pizza a day ago."

Jay playfully rolled his eyes and started to playfully argue back.
"And? I've eaten pizza two days in a row before. Who's going to pass up the opportunity to have pizza two consecutive days in a row?"

"Give me something else."

Jay thought for a second and started to scratch the back of his neck; he actually struggled to think of something else he wanted to eat besides pizza.
"Uhh.."

He stayed quiet as he thought of something until eventually Ayden decided to speak.
"Pasta! I want to have pasta!"

"Now that's better."

Jay watched as your face lit up when Ayden said pasta, and he chuckled at the fact that you agreed that pasta was a better option.

"Hey, I like pizza better, you know."
He teased as he pinched one of your cheeks jokingly.

"The baby wins."

He continued to pinch your cheek and couldn't stop himself from thinking how adorable you looked when you were interacting with little Ayden.

Eventually he released your cheek from his small pinch and ruffled Ayden's hair.
"Fine, I can't say no when both of you give me those little cute puppy dog eyes."

"I'm going to start cooking; can you give him a bath?" You asked

He nodded and extended his arms towards Ayden, and the little boy let go of you and allowed his father to pick him up.

He gave you a small pat on the head before turning his attention to Ayden.
"Cmon kiddo, let's get you in the tub."

"Thank you," you say, giving Jay a small kiss before leaving.

He gives you a smile and watches as you walk to the kitchen. He bounced Ayden in his arms and spoke jokingly to him.
"You see that? Your mama gives the best pecks in the world, don't you think?"

The boy lets out a soft giggle as Jay jokes about your pecks; they were always soft but so meaningful.
"Yeah. Mama's pecks are the best."

Jay chuckled and started to walk up the stairs, carrying Ayden.

The two made it to the bathroom, and Jay sat little Ayden down on the countertop and started to undress him.
"Cmon kiddo, let's get you in the tub before your mama starts to burn our food."

Ayden giggled as he allowed his father to get him undressed and into the bath. Jay turned on the water and checked the temperature before grabbing a small cup and starting to pour water onto his little head.
"Don't wiggle too much; don't want to get water everywhere."

———
Jay was just about to get done drying Ayden's hair, and they heard you calling them for dinner.

He picked his son up and wrapped a towel around his wet body.

"Mama's calling; we better hurry before the food gets cold."

He carried Ayden down the steps into the kitchen, and Ayden's eyes instantly lit up when he saw the dinner on the table.
"Ooooh! Mama! It looks so good."

He smiled as he set the boy in his little seat and spoke as he sat in his own chair.
"Doesn't it? Your mama made us a great dinner; we get to eat all this yummy spaghetti and meatballs. You're a lucky boy, ya' know that?"

You chuckled when he said, "Eat now, Ayden."

He nodded and began to grab his little fork and start to dig into his plate of pasta.

Jay smiles at how fast his son was to start eating. He reached out and grabbed a fork full of spaghetti and stuck it into his mouth.
"It's wonderful, dear; you're the greatest cook in the world."

The boy continued eating, completely silent as he was too distracted by the yummy food in front of him.
Eventually he spoke with his little mouth full of spaghetti and meatballs.
"Mama, this is the best pasta! You make the best food ever!"

Jay laughed as his son said how amazing your food was. He had sauce on his cheeks and all over his mouth, but you could tell it was a huge compliment.

He spoke, looking at you with a smirk as your son continued to enjoy his food.
"See? Even Ayden agrees you're the best cook." He whispers, giving you a kiss.

"I'm glad he likes it."

"Y/N, you know.. in the bath, Ayden kept saying how he wants a sibling."
