It was the day before Halloween. October 30th. School was still in session and the six best friends say waiting in their class for the bell to ring.
Ten more minutes until they tasted freedom for the weekend. They all had an idea for something to do for Halloween, and couldn't wait to share it.
The clock ticked by slowly, tick by tick. And the autumn breeze blew outside. Each teacher went on about non-coherent things. The teenagers just thought and doodled and watched the clock.
Five more minutes.
Shawn and Kat sat in English class, exactly four seats across from each other. They both were excited to spend Halloween together; it was their favorite holiday, just a small thing in their similarities. Everyone knew them as the schools star crossed lovers; they were perfect for each other in every way. They both had brown eyes, and brown hair; and a beautiful straight smile that shined through the darkest of darks.
They were almost the same. The only difference being that Shawn was a boy, and Kat was a girl; But everyone would agree, they were indeed perfect for each other.
Shawn slowly scribbled words on a piece of paper and balled it up. He giggled a little before chucking it at the back of Kats head. She turned and glared at him, but soon smiled when she realized that it was a note from him.
She picked it up off the ground and slowly unwrinkled it. she smiled at the words written on the paper.
"Movie night tonight? Just the six of us. Cuddle/friends night? That would be great. I seriously can't wait until this bell rings. Oh by the way, did I tell you how beautiful you look today? Because you're at like an infinity. love you xx

Before she could write a response the bell rang dismissing all of the high schoolers for the weekend. She got up and threw her bag over her shoulder and waited for Shawn to put everything away.
Kat and Shawn have been dating since their 8th grade year, and now they are seniors, you could say that they are going to spend the rest of their lives together.
Shawn finally gets everything packed and they walk out of class hand in hand.
"So movie night sounds good" Kat says, finally replying to Shawn. "good. I'm thinking about the Halloween movies, since y'know, tomorrow's Halloween." he smiled at her.
Kids crowded the hallways of the school, everyone trying to get out as fast as they can to get ready for their plans. When Kat and Shawn reached their lockers (where they first met) their friends slowly started to come and surround them.
"So what are we doing tonight?" Ashley asked, leaning on Daniel, her boyfriend of 3 years.
Ashley and Daniel started dating during freshman year, when Shawn introduced Daniel to Ashley in eighth grade. They were really slow with their relationship, but eventually they got together and have been inseparable ever since. But Ashley and Daniel are polar opposites. Ashley is adventurous and likes to investigate things. Daniel likes to stay at home and cuddle, kiss all day, and watch Netflix. But somehow they make it work.
"We figured that we will all come to my place and watch horror films" Shawn said, squeezing kats hand in his. Kat looked up at the beautiful boy beside her and smiled. She loved his cute little ways to show affection towards her. He was a complete romantic and couldn't deny it. He loves her, and you can see it in his eyes every time he looks at her.
"Nah, can't do it, me and Andrea are going to go all the way tonight" Cameron said, shoulder-checking Andrea. "No we're not, shut up Cam" she rolled her eyes. Cameron and Andrea have been dating for 2 years. They started dating in tenth grade. They both are jokesters, but Cam more than Andrea. Andrea plays jokes and pranks on people, but she can be serious sometimes too.
Cameron is a non-stop jokester; Andrea says he jokes in his sleep. Everyone calls Kat & Shawn and Andrea & Cameron "the twins" because both girls look alike and both boys look alike.
Daniel and Ashley are similar in some sorts; they both have brown hair and blue eyes. But their faces are shaped differently, Ashley's is long and slender, her skin is soft like a babies. Daniels face is square and his skin is tan.
Shawn and Cameron both have long faces, and tan skin. They both have brown hair and eyes. Kat and Andrea both have brown hair and eyes, and long faces. They both have a smile that can light up a room and make anyone's day great.
Cameron wiggled his eyes brows at Andrea and wrapped his fingers in hers. "We could..." He said smiling, he was joking, but he loved to joke around with her. Cameron respected every aspect of Andrea, and respected the fact that she wasn't ready. None of them were really ready at all.
"Besides," Kat broke in, "She would've told me and Ash if you guys were going to be frickle frackling" She scolded Cameron playfully. They all laughed
"Well we're going to go, my mom wants us home to explain Halloween safety rules for tomorrow, bore, she's going to be at work so she's covering it tonight" Ashley scoffed and gave everyone a hug. Daniel stood there awkwardly but eventually gave both girls a hug, and "bro fisted" the guys. "Love you guys! See you tonight!" Ashley said while waving bye and walking down the hallway with Daniel.
"You know her mom only does that because she knows that Ashley is insane when it comes to Halloween" Kat laughed. They all agreed. "So, are we going to discuss the Halloween plans tonight so we can get everything ready?" Cameron said, looking at everyone. They all nodded. "I can't wait to see what everyone has planned" Kat squealed with delight. "Me either" Shawn agreed with the love of his life.
"Well, I and Andrea are going to go 'frickle frackle' now" Cameron laughed, and hugged Kat. Andrea did the same to both Kat and Shawn. "Love you guys!" Andrea called as Cameron lifted her on his back and ran down the hallway.
Shawn smiled and turned to Kat, pulling her into a hug. "I love you" he whispered in her ear and rubbed the small of her back. "I love you too" she smiled and nuzzled into his chest.
He then pulled away and put his hands on her cheeks and kissed her softly. "I'm so happy I met you, I plan on marrying you, you know" he smiled at her when he pulled away. "I know." She softly replied and brushed his hair off his forehead. They both finished in their lockers, and shut them at the same time. By this time everyone was out of the hallways and on their way home. "Are you ready to go to my place, my sweet?" Shawn smiled and held out his hand for her. She nodded and wrapped her hand in his. But he had a different plan.
He flung her up and carried her bridal style down the hallway as she laughed.
