Bonus Chapter: A New Chapter
A few years had passed since Y/N and Dua's intimate kiss under the moonlight in that quiet park. They had built a life together, one filled with love, laughter, and a few surprises along the way. Their home was now bustling with the energy of their two children—Emma, a bright-eyed six-year-old with a penchant for baking, and Leo, a spirited four-year-old who was a little chef in the making.
The mornings in their household were a delightful chaos, filled with the sounds of laughter, the aroma of breakfast sizzling on the stove, and the occasional clanging of pots and pans. Dua often teased Y/N about how they had trained the kids to be their own sous chefs.
“Okay, my little chefs, what’s on the menu today?” Y/N asked, their voice cheerful as they watched Emma and Leo bouncing around the kitchen.
“Pancakes! With sprinkles!” Emma exclaimed, her face lighting up with excitement.
“Yeah! And chocolate chips!” Leo added, jumping up and down, nearly spilling his juice.
“Alright, let’s make the best pancakes ever,” Y/N replied, grinning at their enthusiasm. They loved these mornings, where they all gathered in the kitchen, the heart of their home.
Dua wandered in, hair tousled and still in their pajamas. “Did I hear someone say pancakes? I want in!” they declared, a playful gleam in their eyes.
“Of course! You can be in charge of the sprinkles!” Y/N replied, chuckling.
As they worked together, the kitchen filled with laughter. Emma carefully poured flour while Leo tried to sneak chocolate chips into his mouth when he thought no one was watching. Dua stood nearby, snapping pictures with their phone, capturing these little moments to share with fans later.
“Just a quick photo for the ‘gram!” Dua said, striking a playful pose with a spatula in hand. “Chef Mom, Chef Dad, and our mini chefs!”
Y/N smiled, watching as Dua effortlessly mixed fun with family. It was moments like these that made them grateful for their life together.
Once breakfast was ready, they all gathered around the table. The pancakes were topped with fresh fruit, syrup, and, of course, sprinkles.
“This is the best breakfast ever!” Emma declared, her eyes wide with delight.
“Mommy and Daddy make the best food!” Leo chimed in, shoving a forkful of pancake into his mouth.
Dua reached across the table to squeeze Y/N’s hand. “I love our little family,” they said, their voice soft but full of warmth.
“Me too. We make a great team,” Y/N replied, their heart swelling with love.
After breakfast, as the kids ran off to play, Dua and Y/N took a moment to breathe in the beauty of their life.
“Have you thought more about the cookbook we discussed?” Dua asked, leaning against the counter, their eyes glinting with excitement.
“I have! I think it would be a wonderful way to share our favorite family recipes. Plus, the kids can help out,” Y/N said, their mind racing with ideas. “We can include their favorites—like Emma’s rainbow cupcakes and Leo’s ‘spicy’ pasta.”
Dua laughed, recalling how Leo had mistaken chili flakes for paprika once. “And we can share those stories! Our fans would love it. It’ll be like a behind-the-scenes look at our life on the road.”
“Exactly! We can show them how we manage to cook healthy, delicious meals while touring,” Y/N suggested, their passion for food evident. “And it could include tips for cooking with kids!”
