Felix stood in front of his bathroom mirror, smoothing down his shirt with a critical eye. Tonight was his first real date with Samantha, and he'd spent far too long debating over what to wear. It felt surreal; he hadn't been on a date ever—unless you count the date where he confessed with Josephine. Since matching with Samantha, they'd FaceTimed every night, their conversations flowing effortlessly. Felix still hasn't showed a picture of Samantha to Josephine because they look oddly a like. He couldn't put his finger on it but he was really drawn to Samantha.

Orson walked by the bathroom, pausing in the doorway with a smirk. "Look at you," he said, leaning against the doorframe with crossed arms. "All dressed up and ready to go, huh? Not bad, man. You actually look kinda... decent."

Felix chuckled, adjusting the collar of his shirt one last time. "Decent? Thanks, Orson. Real boost of confidence there."

Orson laughed, clapping Felix on the shoulder. "I'm just messing with you. You look good, Felix. She's gonna be lucky to have you tonight."

Felix's stomach fluttered with nervous excitement. He took a deep breath and nodded. "Alright, wish me luck."

Orson gave him a thumbs-up. "You don't need it. Just be yourself."

Leaving the house with a small wave, Felix felt a burst of confidence. He was meeting Samantha at the movies to watch Moon Wars 2 before heading to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The evening was cool, and the streets were alive with the usual bustle of Friday night. By the time he reached the theater, Samantha was already waiting outside, looking effortlessly stunning in a casual dress and leather jacket. She looked so much like Josephine...

Her face lit up when she saw him, and Felix felt a warmth spreading through his chest. "Hey, you," she greeted, smiling as they hugged.

"Hey, yourself. You look great," he said, unable to keep the smile off his face.

She laughed softly, a hint of pink on her cheeks. "Thanks. You look really good too."

They got their tickets and found seats in the theater, settling in just as the previews started. The movie itself was a thrill ride—Moon Wars 2 was the kind of cheesy sci-fi spectacle that invited laughter and groans in equal measure. Felix and Samantha exchanged amused glances throughout, sharing quiet commentary on the over-the-top action sequences and ridiculous dialogue.

About halfway through the film, the sound of muffled sniffles came from a few rows ahead of them. Felix glanced over and noticed a young boy, maybe five or six years old, standing in the aisle, looking around with wide, teary eyes.
