My legs froze the moment we stepped out of the car. Laurent and I are going to meet my parents, and will carry out our plan. Laurent is dumb for thinking that I will fall for her or whatever she meant a while ago.
Malabong mangyari ang iniisip niya because I know to myself that I like a man. A MAN.
That explain why this plan favors me.
"Let's go." Malamig na sabi niya kasabay nang paglahad ng kamay.
"Do we really need to hold hands?" Hesitant to hold her.
She shook her head and sighs. Instead of holding my hand, she snaked her long thin arm around my tiny waist. I was shocked, unable to utter a word. Her scent bubble enveloped my system, I was still dazed and felt completely uncomfortable with her presence, especially that she is this close! Note that there is skinship!
"Just follow my lead and don't act like a spoiled child." Bulong niya sa tenga ko, making me shiver. Why? I just felt her hot breath fanning on my ear and neck!
The fuck is wrong with her?
Kung wala lang talaga kami sa mansion kanina ko pa siya tinadyakan.
"I am not spoiled!" I irritatedly whisper shouted.
Parang wala siyang narinig at diretso lang na pumasok sa loob ng mansion.
"Anak!" My mother exclaimed when she saw us approaching. Tumayo si mom at mas inuna pang sinalubong si Laurent.
"Hello? I'm the daughter?" Taas kilay at mataray kong salita na ikinatawa nito.
Tsh. I am still mad at them tapos ganito pa ang bungad.
"Selosa ka pa rin talaga." Natatawang sambit ng mom ko then proceed to hug me tight. I just raised my brows at her, can't help but to be maldita around her.
"Whatever."
"Anyways, you look good together." My mom squealed. Ngumingiti ng sobrang lambing at puno ng paghanga.
"Thank you po." Maliit na ngumiti si Laurent sa kaniya dahilan para mapaikot ang mata ko.
Plastic ang gaga.
Hindi na rin ako nagulat kung close sila ni mom since they have mentioned that Laurent is close with them, and they have known her for a long time. Kaya nga ako pinamigay sa babaeng 'yan eh.
"Where's dad?" I changed the topic.
"Your father is still working on his office. Let's go muna sa dining room, papatawag ko nalang iyon." Enggayo ni mom.
Kaagad na lumapit ang 'asawa' ko kuno at lumingkis na naman sa akin. Itong si Laurent akala mo pilay ako kung makaalalay. I leaned a little to whisper and say, "Chansing ka."
Nagitla ako nang bigla itong lumingon sa akin dahilan para isang pulgada na ang layo ng mukha niya at kung hindi ko naitulak ang mukha niya, God! We could've kissed! Sapul ng mukha niya ang palm ko dahilan para samaan niya ako ng tingin, her grip tightened on my waist, dahilan para mapakislot ako.
It's sending some familiar feeling. It's making me uncomfortable, parang nanunumbalik ang nakaraan. She's haunting me!

Bago ko pa man sya matulak ay naunahan ako ng gulat.
"Am I interrupting?" I jolted upon hearing my father's voice.
Mabilis kong inalis ang kamay nito sa bewang ko at lumapit sa ina ko saka nagkuwanri tumulong sa kung ano man ang mahawakan ko.. Medyo tense ko rin inayos ang buhok.
