Damian couldn't help but hold Batbun a bit close to his chest as he brought his legs into the chair. Bruce hadn't said a word since...

"We can't just sit here" Ali finally stated, she was on her fifth cup of coffee after being woken up by Jade's sudden disappearance. "What if she was taken by some magical entity?" "Then we're fucked" Tim scoffed. "It'll become like an Zatanna or Constantine problem. But they'd have her returned by now if that was the case" "Are we ruling out that she could be with Talon?" Dick finally spoke, rubbing his forehead. "She disappears when she's fooling back with him...right?"

They all shifted to look at Damian, his hands gently scratching behind the bunny's ears. "She's not messing with him..." He whispers quietly. "They've been done since the showcase" "He was at the showcase?" Bruce mumbles with an arched eyebrow. "Almost all of her 'friends' were at the showcase" Everyone took a deep sigh as they started to think.

Who could possibly want Jade?

"You know, we could give it a few days..." Tim spoke in a low whisper. "Before we tell the public. Maybe she did get held up somewhere?" "No! You aren't listening Drake!" Damian's voice cracked as he yelled at his brother. "Jade would've said something to me! She would've told me!" His fist slammed on the table, slightly startling Batbun in his lap. "She tells me everything!" "We get that Damian, but you know her magical duties" Ali reminded. "Maybe she ran into something? Had to fake something?" Ali was trying to think of possibilities that jade could be semi be alright. That nothing horrible could've happened to her.

"She left a sign. Her room being destroyed? That's a sign. She told us! Just...she wouldn't go anywhere without letting me know something!" Dick puts a hand on Damian's shoulder as an attempt to calm him down. "We're gonna find her, just...under the radar" Everyone nods looking at Bruce. His hands hadn't moved from his mouth through the whole conversation. He lays back and sighs. "No one can know...at least for two or three days..." He finally spoke, it's been hours since he had said anything.

"And Jason?" Tim asked hesitantly. "You don't think her presence won't go unnoticed? Both Nightlight and Jaden?" "Nightlight we can handle." Bruce waved his hand, he didn't seemed too worried. The others? Couldn't relate so much. Everyone has a part in the family, and Nightlight's part was pretty crucial. "But Jason-" "Two days. Then you tell him. Everyone get a rest, eat, because it's about to be a long few days"

In the middle of the table was Jade's phone, the cute charming ringtone starting to go off. They all stared at the caller. It had the cute photo of jade holding him in her arms.

"Do not answer that." Bruce got up and left the table. Everyone took a glance at each other, taking a deep breath. "We're gonna find her D" Ali reassures. "But you need to rest for now, we'll regroup around noon" Damian nods slowly, standing up with the bunny resting in his arms. He picked up Jade's phone and shoved it in his pocket. As much as Jade and Damian argued, they both are in an agreement that they are in fact each others keepers. And it always drove him crazy when something left went wrong with her, because it always made it ten times harder to consider.

He felt a vibration in his pocket, this time from his phone.
