Everything was groggy when she woke up. The room was dark, nothing but the tv playing GNN. Oh, and of course Roman sitting at the edge of the bed. He hadn't moved, didn't say anything. She knows that he can feel her yet they sat in silence. Jade slowly sat up, holding her pounding head.

"It's been thirty days since Jaden Wayne's disappearance and the Wayne's has started to become desperate"

She looked down to see Roman caressing her foot gently and quietly. His eyes were staring at the screen at the multiple pictures they showed of Jade, especially the ones of her last known appearance. Jade snatched her foot back from him and moved to the other side of the bed. Roman sighs, shaking his head. "Why are you like this." Jade turned her head, yet her arms remained cross. "I hope you're talking to yourself." Jade remarks harshly, her eyes hardening on him. "You could've been done the right thing"

"I'm not a right person, if you haven't caught on" Roman stood up and finally turned to him. Jade took notice of his face, minus the scar she left on his right eye he was wearing his glasses. She fought back a laugh, it made him appear a lot less intimidating to her. Even if he tried to scar her with that icy glare she couldn't help but give him a pathetic smile. "I've been nothing but nice to you. I give you whatever you want, even pamper you" Roman started to approach her as he went on his tangent.

"There are people here that want nothing but to see you suffer. A little bunny like you in the hands of many wolves" His hands found themselves straddling her in place onto the bed. Jade found herself staring into his eyes, his words meant nothing. A quiet laugh slips past her lips, "The same bunny that had half your wolves on their backs?" She shot back, he was so close to her. His nose was just barely touching hers. He didn't find her joke funny, his fist were clutching the sheets at her side.

"What are you trying to convince yourself?" Jade tilts her head, throwing her leg over her other. "That'll I'll grow to love you? That I'll grow to want and need you?" She scoffs and rolled her eyes. "I don't need you. I will never want you. You are nothing but a sick, disgusting, lonely perverted loser" Jade shoved him back away from her, standing up from the bed. Her legs slightly wobbled from being out for so long but that was pain she could tolerate. "I've been trying to be nice, I just want to go home to my family. But I can't tell if your jealous that I have a real family or a Bo-"

Words caught in her throat as his hands launched themselves around her neck. A look that she had never seen him give before, his face looked dark as well as his eyes. His grip tightened on her throat as he lifted her up in the air. "You don't fucking need me?" He muttered angrily. "You're forgetting on who lets you fucking breath, who lets you live." Jade gasped for air, her eyes bubbling up with tears. She refused, she refused to beg him for something as simple as air.

"Beg."

"You need me."

"Beg for i.."

She had to think fast or he seriously was going to kill her. But fuck, what does she do? A dim light bulb went off in her head as she remembered something oddly comforting.

"When you're getting choked out, dudes are always gonna pick you up" Tulip recounted with a grin. "Use that to your advantage. Your magic ain't always gonna save you"

Jade braced her legs around his waist, locking them together. She took one last gasp as she lunged her head forward into his fast. "Fuck!" His hands had dropped themselves from her neck to correct his glasses but at that point Jade had headbutted him again. Both of them had fell on the floor, Jade breathing heavily as she held her throat. She took a look at him, his blooded nose and yet another bruise left on his forehead. She scoffed and got off for him, going to sit back on the bed.

"Beg." He demanded once more, Roman stood up and wiped the blood from his nose. "You'll regret it." "Will I?" Jade challenged, blinking rapidly at him.

"Beg."

"I've begged you multiple times. I've begged you to let me go home. You get no more begging out of me" Roman stared at her one last time, his eyes falling to his broken glasses on the floor. He chuckles as he left the room, the lock clicking from the outside.

"Hey Quinn!" Quinn looked up from the tv from her spot on the couch. "Rom...Oh god what happened" "Never mind that. For now on, you slide her food underneath the door. Don't talk to her, no one interacts with her. Period" Quinn stood up with a confused look. "Roman, that's gonna make her go crazy! You're doing everything but-" "Don't." Roman cuts her off, pointing his finger at her. "Make her dinner, I'm going to my office" Quinn watched as the man stormed off to his office, her eyes looking at his bedroom door.

"Oh jade" she whispers to herself. "What did you do?"
