The fabric.

It was different.

Different from her silky sheets, soft blanket and pillows. She rolled around slightly, yawning. She went to rub her eyes but something kept them bonded together. "Mhm...?" She opens her eyes, letting her vision adjust slowly. The curtains were flowing because of currant coming through, she could see the back half of the city. She sat up slowly, squinting her eyes. Where was she?

She looks down at her wrist to see a yellow ribbon keeping them together, she scoffs. Was this a fucked up party trick or what? She hums as she shifts her arms behind her back and slowly untied the ribbon. Once her hands were free, she slowly slid to the edge of the bed. She could tell that she wasn't home, that was a given. It was a pretty decent sized room, a huge bed too. The main colors surrounded her were different shades of black and red. She stared out the window, trying to picture where she was. "South side...but where...?" She could only see the back half of Wayne tower.

"Oh my god you're up" She turned her head to the mysterious woman sitting in a rocking chair. Her green eyes gave her an assessing stare. "Uh, welcome to your new home! For however long you're here" Think, what happened? Jade tried to remember. She was staring at herself in the mirror crying, then that ghostface guy...

"Ghostface?" Jade whispers softly. He brought her here? But why? "Well, yeah. One of them did" One? Them? Now Neil's words started to make sense. "Could I get you something? He's almost on his way back with some stuff for you" "What's your name?" Jade asked as she took another look around the room. Pictures of multiple people, at least ten hung up around all in different masks. "Me? Oh I'm Quinn. I'm supposed to be watching you til he gets back" "Who is he? Why am I here? Why did ghostface-"

"I get that you have a lot of questions" Quinn attempted to calm down the girl. As sweet as the girl seemed, she seemed a bit tensed but who wouldn't be? "I can't answer those until he gets here." Jade stood up, if it's one thing that her father taught her was to always think before she jumped. No matter how scary, terrifying, or confusing the situation may be. She took a look in the mirror, she was still wearing her tank top and shorts as her sleep clothes. A look of disgust appeared on her face once she noticed the bow hair clip stuck in her hair.

"What. The hell." Jade grips her fist, looking at Quinn. She only put her hands up in defeat. "You're his gift, not mine"

"Who. The hell. Is he."

"Calm down Girl Scout. I can-"

The door knob began to twist, Jade turns her head to see the door slowly open. "Oh great you're finally back" Quinn scoffed as she backed away from Jade. "She's a feisty one" "Something that can be fixed over time. Relax Quinn" Jade took a look at him, her eyes forming a look of realization. "Richie?" The man looked over at her, chuckling. A tiny tint of blush spread across his face as he sits down the plate of breakfast on his desk. "I'm honored that you remember me from the showcase. That was three months ago" "Why am I here Richie?" Jade didn't care much for the sentimental reasons, her arms crossed looking at him.

"I'm Roman," He corrected, stepping forward to her. His chest was directly near hers, and unfortunately Jade had to look up at him. Her look didn't falter and that made it all the more better. Roman had a grin on his face as he extended his hand to graze the side of her cheek. "You are my gift, and simply putting this uh. You're my Christmas gift" "Excuse me?" Jade scoffed, smacking his hand away from her. "I'm no one's fucking gift" Roman whistles, a chuckle leaving his lips soon after.

"I'd never thought that Jaden Wayne would be so hostile to an admirer"

"Admiration is viewed from afar. What you're doing is a sign of hostility and fucking kidnapping!" Jade shoved him away from her, her sudden strength made him stumble back. As some small and fragile like her, he would never expect her to have any strength. Especially seeing how pampered she is, he wouldn't expect her to lift a finger to defend herself. That was the thrill in his head, a disgusting one.

Poor little Jaden Wayne, helpless to him. But he was met with her fire, that's fine. As he stared at her angry green eyes, he smiled. He'll enjoy breaking her, at least to a point he wants her to be. "I'm fucking leaving" Jade turns to push past him, "I'll spare the public the details" "You aren't going anywhere" He grabs her shoulder harshly, for a moment she did stop.

Jade doesn't know what came over her, she shrugged his hand off (or at least tried to) and turned her other half of her body towards him. Her fist went to connect to his face but his reaction was faster then what she expected. He caught her arm right before her fist could even think of connecting to his face. Graciously, she's glad that she's Batman's daughter. She's blessed with the stone cold unreadable stare that she possesses, even if she wanted to be stunned or shocked it quite literally wasn't in her programming.

But Roman only smiled, twisting her arm behind her back and bring her closer to his chest. "Let me get this straight, I'm not very Keene on repeating myself" He lifted her face to look at him. "You aren't going anywhere, while I'm not demanding or anything quite yet. I do still have rules for you sweetheart, so what you are going to do is sit down, eat, then shower. I picked out some nice clothes I think you'll like" Jade clenches her jaw as he gently squeezed her cheeks.

"Got it?"

Quinn watched, a bit in shocked. She never saw this side of Roman, he would usually be shouted had any of the girls tried to do that to him. He would've gotten physical with them, but for once in his goddamn life, she's seeing restraint. He loosens his grip on her arm and jade yanks her arm back from him, making him chuckle. "Don't be like that princess" Jade didn't say a word back to him, she took a the food tray and walked over to the seat near the window. She stared at her food a bit, glancing back up at Roman.

"It's not poisoned. I want you around sweetheart"

She sighs, pressing her head against the window. Her fingers tapping against the window as she began to eat her food.

How long would it take, she wonders. How long would it take for her family to find her?
