Chapter 5

Chloe's POV

For this last day of school, the two teachers of the seven and eight split classes combined the two classes together to celebrate this last year as a 'community' as they would say. I stood around my group of friends and we were talking. Then I look over to Karina and she gave me a smirk and all I could think was 'oh no'

A few moments earlier

"You should tell her dude!" Karina said to me before we walked into the classroom,

"W-what? No way am I doing that!" I said back

"C'mon man it's the last day! That means confessions!"

There was no way that I am telling Cara that I like her! No way in Hell! But with that smirk on Karina's face I could tell that she was putting her plan into action. Well sucks for her because I am not saying anything! After all conversation was gone from our group Karina found it the right time to hatch her plan.

"I'm bored now." Said Jessie

"I have an idea. Confessions! It's the last day and we aren't going to see you guys next year, so how about we just confess anything now." Karina said with a smile

"Ok why not." Said Cara

"Okay who goes first?" said Karen

"I don't know. Not me, I already pitched the idea your turn."

"I STOLE SOMETHING WHEN I WAS LITTLE!" Alex screamed out of nowhere.

"Well there's a way to start off." Karina said, "Anyone else?"

"I don't think I really have any secrets." said Jessie

"Same here." Said Cara

"Same." Said Karen

"Okay how about you Chloe?" she asked turning to me

"HOW ABOUT YOU KARINA?" I said then all eyes went to her.

"Fine I have a secret. I am bisexual there I said it!" she said quite quickly. That's what you get for trying to get me to confess.

"WHAT?!" the three eighth graders were surprised. Honestly when she told me and Alex I kind of saw it coming.

"Okay I think everyone said something." Said Karen

"NO! CHLOE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING YET!"

Damn I thought I could get away with it.

"B-but I don't h-have any secrets." I said, cursing at myself for stuttering.

"You do have a secret!" Karen said.

"Is it a boy?" said Jessie.

"What? No!" I said, at least I don't think Cara's a boy....SNAP OUT OF IT OF COURSE SHE'S A GIRL!

"IT IS A BOY!" she said, "Is it someone we know?"

I looked to Karina and all she did was laugh. This wasn't the first time Jessie had tried to get this out of me. Apparently I accidentally told her that I have a crush on someone so she's been bugging me for a while and now Karen wants to know and Cara.....WHERE IS CARA?!

"H-hey where did Cara go?" I said trying to get off of the topic.

"She went downstairs to help with something. Now don't avoid the question!" Jessie really wants to know this.

"Hey, now I want to know!" Karen joined the conversation and that just made this much harder.

"Just tell them Chloe it's not like they're going to tell the person and it is last day." Karina said. Some friend she is.
