In the early morning light, Masha found herself padding softly down the hallway to wake Lucifer for breakfast. She paused for a moment by his door, the soft rise and fall of his breathing audible as she gently opened it. Curled up with his silver-white hair fanned around him like a halo, Lucifer looked every bit the part of an angelic figure. His delicate features, smooth and peaceful, made her smile. She loved this quiet part of the morning, catching him in his most innocent state before the day really began.
Unable to resist, Masha gently prodded his cheek with her finger, whispering, "Hey, sleepyhead. Time to wake up."
But Lucifer merely mumbled in his sleep, his long lashes fluttering briefly before he drifted off again. Chuckling softly, Masha tried again, this time shaking his shoulder gently. He opened his eyes halfway, clearly still lost in sleep, and Masha couldn't help but smile at his groggy expression.
"Come on, up you go," she cooed, guiding him gently by the shoulders to sit up. Barely responsive, Lucifer followed her lead without protest, letting her steer him to the bathroom. It was almost a routine by now, their morning dance of gentle coaxing as Masha helped him freshen up. Once he'd splashed some water on his face and properly woke up, they returned to the kitchen, where a cozy breakfast was already set.
They settled down, Masha grinning as she handed him a piece of toast. "You know, you're pretty cute when you're half-asleep. It's like you're still dreaming."
Lucifer yawned and took a slow bite, too tired to register her teasing. Masha watched as he lazily munched on his breakfast, looking as though he could fall back asleep at any moment. Chuckling, she scooted closer, holding up a piece of fruit.
"Here," she said, nudging it toward his mouth with a playful grin. "Let me feed you, sleepyhead."
Lucifer blinked, eyes widening slightly, though he opened his mouth to accept the offering. "You're spoiling me," he murmured between bites, though he didn't resist her gentle attentions.
"Someone's got to take care of you," she teased, winking as she offered him another piece.
After they'd eaten, Masha stretched her arms and checked the time. "We've got a lot of shopping to do today, so let's get moving!" Lucifer merely nodded, still a bit groggy as he followed her out the door.
They spent the next few hours roaming the shopping mall, ticking off items from their list. Masha would occasionally tease Lucifer by holding up an outfit in the women's section and insisting it would look adorable on him. Though he rolled his eyes at her antics, Lucifer found himself smiling more than he would admit, enjoying their easy banter as they picked out essentials for their upcoming field trip.
By the time they returned home, their arms laden with bags, the sky had turned dark, and a heavy rain had started pouring. They dropped their bags by the door, intending to relax a bit before sorting their new purchases.
Masha and Lucifer were sitting comfortably on the sofa, flipping through a movie catalog, when a sudden flash of lightning struck nearby, casting a bright light that startled them both. The immediate crash of thunder that followed made Masha gasp, instinctively clutching onto Lucifer, her face buried against his chest as her heart pounded.
Lucifer tensed momentarily, caught off-guard by her reaction. But he softened almost immediately, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she relaxed against him.
"It's just a storm," he murmured softly, brushing a hand over her back. "You're safe, Masha."
After a moment, she peeked up at him, her cheeks tinged pink. "Thanks," she whispered. Embarrassed, she released her grip, though she stayed nestled close to him, enjoying the warmth of his presence.
Eventually, they made their way to their respective rooms to prepare for bed. However, as the storm raged on, Masha found herself tossing and turning. Every clap of thunder seemed to echo through the house, making her heart skip with each loud rumble. Finally, she decided she couldn't handle it alone and padded over to Lucifer's room, gently pushing open his door.
Without a word, she climbed into his bed, settling herself beside him. Her presence stirred Lucifer from his sleep, and he blinked up at her in surprise, though he didn't protest when she nestled close, resting his head on her chest for comfort.
"It's just... the storm," she murmured, wrapping her arms around him protectively. "Just stay like this for a while, okay?"
Lucifer mumbled an affirmative, and soon they both drifted back to sleep, comforted by each other's presence. The storm eventually faded, leaving the room quiet as the morning sun began to peek through the curtains.
The next morning, Masha woke up early, slipping out of Lucifer's bed without disturbing him. She was hosting a few friends later that morning and wanted to make sure everything was ready before they arrived. With a bright smile, she went to greet them as they arrived, ushering them inside with excitement.
As they settled in, the girls started to notice Lucifer wasn't up yet, and they exchanged amused glances, knowing well how sleepy he could be. Soon enough, a still half-asleep Lucifer wandered out of his room, his hair slightly tousled and his eyes barely open.
"Oh my gosh, Masha, he's adorable!" one of her friends giggled as she spotted him.
"Lucifer, you're like a little doll," another one chimed in, grinning.
Blinking in confusion, Lucifer tried to process the scene in front of him, only vaguely aware of the girls' amused voices. Still half-asleep, he let them take his hands, guiding him to the bathroom to freshen up properly. He mumbled a soft "thanks" before splashing some water on his face, finally waking up a bit more as he returned to the kitchen.
As he took a seat, Masha and her friends surrounded him, each one taking turns feeding him bites of breakfast, laughing at his groggy expressions. "You really are like a prince in a fairytale, needing your morning wake-up call," one of them teased, earning a small blush from Lucifer as he continued to eat.
Once breakfast was finished, the girls exchanged glances, clearly up to something as they held up a few of Masha's more feminine clothes. "Lucifer, how about a little makeover?" Masha suggested, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Just for fun!"
Lucifer sighed but allowed himself to be dressed up, playfully resigning himself to their game as they chose a soft pastel-colored sweater and a pleated skirt, giggling as they completed the look with a small hair clip. He looked at his reflection with mild amusement, unable to deny he did look, in his own way, quite cute.
The rest of the day passed in a blur of laughter and games as they playfully teased him, admiring his patience and enjoying his easygoing nature. Though he wouldn't admit it, Lucifer was rather enjoying their attention and the relaxed, cheerful atmosphere. They played card games, watched movies, and spent hours chatting and joking around until the sun began to set.
As the day came to a close, Masha and Lucifer found themselves alone again, saying goodbye to her friends as the last of them left. Both were tired from the day's excitement, and as they prepared to head to bed, Masha wrapped her arms around Lucifer in an affectionate hug.
"Thanks for letting us have our fun with you today," she said softly, her voice warm with affection. "I think everyone needed a bit of laughter."
Lucifer chuckled, giving her a gentle pat on the back. "It wasn't so bad," he murmured, his voice soft. "I had a good time too."
With that, they each retreated to their rooms, though not for long. As night fell and the house grew quiet, Masha found herself returning to his room once again, craving the comfort of his presence. She climbed into bed beside him, nestling close as she placed his head gently on her chest, letting the steady beat of her heart soothe them both into a deep, restful sleep.
In the soft glow of the moonlight, they drifted off together, content and comforted in each other's company, ready for whatever new adventures awaited them in the days ahead.
