Chapter 10

Lauren's POV:

"Laur, wake up," I heard someone say, shaking me gently. I slowly opened my eyes and I was met with the most gorgeous brown orbs in the entire world.

"yay, you're up!" Ally squealed happily, clapping her hands. looking at the older girl, I felt butterflies start forming in my stomach. she's so beautiful.

"earth to Laur?" Ally said, snapping her fingers in front of my face.

"huh? what? oh, thanks for waking me up Allycat," I said with a smile.

"no problem, hon. remember you have to bring Laurie to meet your family later," Ally reminded me as she hurried out of the room.

I slowly got out of bed and trudged to my bathroom. I took a quick shower before changing into my outfit for the day - The 1975 tank top, ripped jeans and black platform heels. I put my hair into a messy bun and put on a cross tattoo choker. once I got my phone and other important things, I went to find Laurie.

I walked into her room and found her on her laptop doing God knows what. I quietly snuck up behind her and realized she was watching Pretty Little Liars.

"it's a good show, huh?" I whispered into her ear.

Laurie jumped up and spun around. her face was priceless!! I started laughing as she looked at me with disbelief.

"Mami!!" Laurie exclaimed, lightly hitting my arm.

"I'm sorry mija," I apologized while calming myself down.

I took a look at her outfit, a rainbow tie dye tank with a flare at the bottom, ripped black jeans and a denim jacket with a hoodie. her hair was in a side braid and there was a pair of black heeled boot next to her floral bag from I think Kohls?

"nice outfit boo," I heard a voice come from the doorway. I turned around and saw Dinah with Camila on her back. I swear they're literal friendship goals.

"AW CAMINAH!!" Laurie shrieks and she takes out her phone and starts taking pictures. I chuckled at her excitement.

"GIVE ME YOUR FASHION TALENT LAURIE," Camila says dramatically flailing one arm around, the other one around Dinah's neck.

"calm down Chancho!" Dinah exclaims lightly slapping Camila's ass. a blush slowly crept on Camila's cheeks and I smirked evilly at my best friend.

"CAMINAH IS REAL MAMI!" Laurie screams jumping on me.

"calm down tiger," I laugh, damn she's hyper.

"ok, let's go, chop chop. we don't have all day ya know," Ally says, appearing behind Caminah on Normani's shoulders. hey, that should be me carrying her! woah woah woah, hang on, am I jealous? I furrowed my brows in confusion as I tried to sort out my thoughts.

"earth to Mami?" a soft voice broke my train of thought. I slowly shook my head and saw Laurie at the doorway of her room with her bag slung over her shoulder waiting.

"sorry mija," I apologized as I walked over to her. she grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers as we walked downstairs.

"Mami, are you sure that your family actually likes me?" Laurie asked softly, looking down at the ground.

"baby, you're a Jauregui now, they'll love you for sure! my mom and dad have been wanting to meet you for ages and Taylor and Chris can't wait to meet you either!" I told her, gently grabbing her chin and lifting her head up. Laurie silently nodded her head and gave me a small smile.

we were in the car jamming to songs on the radio as Big Rob drove us to my house. Laurie was at the back with Camila and Dinah. I swear, she's a mini version of all of us put together. like Dinah, she enjoys a good prank, she's a goofball like Camila, she has a way with putting her thoughts into words - yes I do stalk her tumblr from time to time - which I've been told I do really well, she's a dancer like Normani and she's really positive like Ally. but at the end of the day she's still Laurie and I love her for who she is.
