A few days have passed since the Rulers and the Warrior of Old Narnia had helped a runaway Telmarine Prince to return Narnia to its original glory from his uncle's angry, power-hungry ways and have been crowned as the new King of Narnia. Once the week has passed since the sudden trip to Narnia and her visit to the countryside, Nora has been joyfully reunited with the Pevensie siblings and their parents. Edmund was especially happy to see her again that they played together in the Secret Forest (a place that they had both found when they were younger).
But Nora knew that her days as the Warrior of Narnia were numbered since her possible third time to Narnia will be her last visit in Narnia. Not just that, somebody has to take her place as the Second Warrior of Narnia. But she'll make up her decision once she returns to Narnia one last time.
And at the moment, Nora was keeping a keen eye on her younger cousin, Marina Knight.
Her parents called her younger cousin by her full name and masters called her Knight. Marina has a few friends that lives in their neighborhood. She called her parents "Mom" and "Dad," because she thinks of herself as an adventurous, but curious girl. They were very up-to-date and advanced people. They were non-smokers, teetotalers, and wore a special kind of underclothes. In their house there was very little furniture, even though her parents had clothes on beds, Marina only has her night-gown neatly folded on her bed and the rest of her clothes were in her closest, and all of their windows were always opened.
Marina is intelligent, clever, and kind. She loves to learn all sorts of things and is very quick to comprehend new information. Her bright attitude and desire to please drew many people right away. Marina is people-oriented, always wanting to help others the best she can. Marina may sometimes be stubborn, skeptical, and set in her ways, but she never fail to help others and figure out a solution to nearly any kind of problem. Marina love to serve others, but she may get burned out, so Nora has to make sure to take care of her. Marina keeps Nora on her toes and focused on others, and she never fails to encourage her and engage her older cousin in witty conversation. She always has a smile on her face, ready to seize the day. She likes reading fantasy, myths and legends, the Bible stories, information about animals and birds, and writing down her adventures that came into mind.
Marina likes her cousin, Nora, and the other way around. She really enjoyed listening to her stories about Narnia and kept asking endless questions about Narnia and its people. Nora was the first one who caught her reading her diary in her bedroom a few days ago and became very curious about it. She and the Pevensie siblings (except Susan, she stopped believing after the last Narnian visit) told her stories about Narnia and everything else.
"Nora!" The mentioned girl snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a familiar voice coming from the hallway. She smiled as Marina gave a slight jump onto the bed, causing it to move a bit. Marina has long, wavy light golden caramel hair streaked in blonde and her skin tone is lightly tanned. Her eyes were blue, like the reflection of the ocean. She was wearing a dark blue blouse that fades to white at the bottom, navy blue pants, and black sneakers with white soles and toes. Though, her only accessory is a simple copper chain with a small golden dragon charm.
"Hey Marina," greeted Nora with a knowing, but amused smirk when she saw the familiar and yet excited sparkle in Marina's eyes. "What's up?"
"Can you tell me one of your adventures as the Warrior of Narnia?" Marina asked Nora eagerly.
Nora chuckled softly at that, clearly expecting her excited question about her time in Narnia. "Sure? What story do you want to hear?"
Marina hummed thoughtfully, but her eyes brightened with an idea of what story she wanted to hear. "Tell me about the time you've returned to Narnia."
She chuckled softly yet again. "Sure sister." At that moment, Nora told Marina about a certain runaway Telmarine Prince to return Narnia to its original glory from his uncle's angry, power-hungry ways and have been crowned as the new King of Narnia, King Caspian the Tenth.
But once Nora was done with her story and started searching for her diary, Marina's eyes landed on a uniquely painted picture. But she didn't pay attention to the voices, she was looking at a pretty picture that is hung in her room. It was pretty picture of a ship — a ship sailing straight towards her. The prow was gilded and shaped like a head of a dragon with a wide-open mouth. She had only one mast and one large, square sail in the color of purple. The sides of the ship were beige. It had just run up to the top of a glorious blue wave with streaks and bubbles on it. It was obviously moving fast on a strong wave. The sunlight fell on her from one side, and the water was full of blue, green, white, and hinted with purple. On the other side, it was darker blue from the shadow of the ship.
Marina widened her eyes when she saw that the painting water in the picture is moving, like in an actual ocean. "Nora!"
"Yes?" Nora put her Narinan diary into her satchel and followed her cousin's gaze. She let out a startled yell at the sight. "Looks like your wish had came true!"
"What the heck!?" exclaimed Marina, astonished.
Water started spraying out of the painting and the ship was sailing closer and closer!
And again, WHAT THE HECK! thought Marina stunned.
Nora felt something very powerful and familiar force pushing through her. They were going to Narnia! The whole room was getting filled with water. Marina felt panic overwhelming her, she saw that Nora and Marina were screaming and crying out to each other, but their words were drowned into the throbbing sound of the rushing water. But then the water filled the whole room and there seemed to be no floor. Nora snook a quick breath before the whole room was filled in. She and the others swam upwards, towards the surface of the water and a ray of sunlight hit them. Nora gasped for breath, stunned and was about to run out of air.
She heard shouting behind them, she turned around and screamed when she saw a huge ship (that surprisingly looked like the one from the picture) coming towards them.
"Swim!!" screamed Marina.
Nearby, the two girls spotted two other boys and a girl in the water too. But Nora couldn't see who it was, neither can Marina. Six men dove into the water with loud splashes and quickly swam after them. Then a huge wave hit her, making Nora go under, she came back coughing up when she felt strong arms go around her waist. She could feel the skin through the shirt from the water as her dress had lifted her up and got stuck there from being wet.
"It's alright I got you," said a young man who got Lucy.
"Caspian!" exclaimed Lucy.
"Lucy!" exclaimed Caspian.
Marina remembered about the boy King of Narnia that she and the Pevensies had helped him get to his rightful throne and the boy king that she had met in her returning trip to Narnia.
