Nora has told Marina tales of the Great Lion, called Aslan, singing the land into existence, stories of Fauns, Centaurs, Talking Beasts, Giants, and Witches. The legends that truly rested in her young mind. Though, were those of what the Narnians considered their Golden Age; when High King Peter the Magnificent, ruled alongside his brother and two sisters. She had shivered when reading of how King Edmund's meeting with the fallen White Witch, how he had betrayed his family only to repent of his deeds. Marina had nearly come to tears when Aslan offered his life to the White Witch in King Edmund's place, and cheered when the two Queens saw Aslan return to life. Marina listened to Nora's vivid description of the coronation of the Four Sovereigns and their rule, though usually focusing on the battles that the two Kings, Warrior Nora, and sometimes Queen Lucy the Valiant fought to protect the land.

But for tonight's story, Nora was telling Marina a story about her time in the Northern Lands of Narnia with Amaya, King Edmund, General Oreius, Kiba and his Pack (Tsume, Hige, Blue, and Toboe). They were out chasing a bunch of troublemaking Hags when Nora fell into the underground world by accident. She eventually gotten out of there and was reunited with her companions. But they soon discovered a Giant Kingdom called Harfang and learned that they would eat anything that moves and speaks. They gotten out of there and reported the Giant Kingdom to High King Peter. But the royal council had agreed not to attack them unless one of the Giants would attack them and they will protect themselves against the violence. A few days passed since the recent discovery, urgent reports came from the Narnians about the attacking Harfang Giants. That's when they gathered an army and fought a great battle against the Harfang Giants. The Narnia Army won and both of the Kings of Narnia forced the Harfang Giants to pay their tributes for their uncalled attack on them.
"That was an amazing adventure, Nora." The mentioned girl smiled at her young cousin, who was tucked into her bed.
"Thanks Marina." Nora gotten up with her leather journal diary in hand, she had written down every adventure down she had back in Narnia and it has been decorated with a small sun pendant on the strap. "But it's time for you to get some sleep now."
"I will." Marina yawned and laid down on her pillow. "Night Nora."
Nora smiled at her. "Night Mari." She soon turned off the light and walked out of the guest room. But once Marina had asleep, she was immediately surrounded by soft colors of blue, green, and white. It felt so unreal and magical at the same time, Marina finally realized that she was standing as some misty clouds came and go from around her. All around Marina seemed to be the faint outlines of the mountains from the mist.
Marina found out that she couldn't talk at all or have anyone listen to her. A little annoyed that her voice has been taken by her, she decided to see what was happening within the depths of her own dream.
As Marina's head turned, however, the corner of her eye caught sight of a flash of brilliant gold. Aslan! Aslan, brilliantly golden and brighter than the rising sun, walking towards her with a loving smile lighting his countenance.
"Valorous Protector." Marina gasped softly at Aslan's address, spoken just over her head, the loving words coming over sweet breath like a spring breeze. Her vision, fixed on the misty earth, was suddenly overwhelmed by a sea of golden fur as Aslan used his soft muzzle to push against Marina's head and chest. The movement was so gentle that Marina never lost her balance; but her back was forced to straighten and hugged Aslan, relaxing to the warmth that he was radiating.
"At peace my daughter, at peace." Aslan's voice was a gentle, rumbling purr and it calmed down Marina's overexcited nerves. "Your return to Narnia is coming soon. As well as Eustace and another friend is coming as well."
The two of them both stepped back from their embrace. The Great Lion let out a mighty roar that reverberated through Marina's body to her very core. At the sound, the mist blew back, revealing an insubstantial portal that extended into the mist, into the light. It was a doorway to an unknown world and it was time to what was happening. The mist parted down the center, creating a small gap. It provided enough room for five people to stand inside, though it appeared to run very deep.
She glanced at Aslan uncertainly, over a thousand questions going through her mind. Marina looked into Aslan's golden eyes and was seized deep in her soul by the warm concern, the grief, and the overwhelming love. "Young Protector, you and three others must rescue him before it is too late."
Rescue who? Marina gazed at Aslan in confusion, but she was struck at how joy and sorrow could mingle with such harmony.
"You will know when you see it," replied Aslan.
A little confused about the Great Lion's riddles, Marina stepped into the portal boldly, but the deeper she went into the portal, the less she could see of the bright gold of Aslan behind her. The portal soon vanished into revealing a dark, but eerie room filled with hung torches that glowed with bright green flames. But the aflame torches were soon changed into bright orange, much to her relief.
She was surprised to see that she walked out of the room and into the main door was now shut, concealing the curtain. She soon saw a beautiful lady in a fluttering bright green dress. Marina could see that the lady had wavy, dark brown hair that's almost black in the light while her skin is slightly paler than hers and her light green eyes were of like icy leaves that began to thaw out. She waved her hand over a flame, catching a small ball of fire in the palm of her hand without burning herself. Marina eyed her warily as the witch walked out of the room, a smirk decorated her features when a pained scream ripped through the air from a nearby room.
Feeling a little concerned and curious, Marina stepped towards the room to see who was screaming. Her eyes landed on a young man was seated in a curious silver chair, but Marina couldn't make out his features too well. He was bounded by his ankles, his knees, his elbows, his wrists, his neck, and his chest. There was sweat on his forehead, and his face was filled with anguish. He started straining against his bonds that tied him to the silver chair. His eyes began to water with tears. He soon let out another terrible, pain-filled scream.
It was his scream that had woke Marina up. Her startling awakening caused her to fall down from her bed. Confused and stunned, Marina sat up from her tangled mess of blankets.
"Marina!" She turned to see Nora running towards her and crouched down, her eyes frantically checking her. "Are you alright? I've heard a loud thump."
Marina soon remembered her startling dream that she had. She solely met Aslan, who warned her about the dangers ahead. She soon recalled the secretive Green Witch, who reminded her of the late White Witch in Narnia and yet she's more manipulative than she thought. And lastly, there was a young man, who was bounded to a silver chair and was in a painful captivity. From the looks of it, Narnia was in danger yet again.
"Marina?" The two girls locked eyes with each other. It was easy to mistake them for sisters instead of cousins; Nora's hair was sandy-blonde and her eyes were cerulean blue while Marina's hair was light golden caramel and her eyes were deep blue. Their bond is a great combination of a sisterhood.
Calming down her nerves, Marina met Nora's eyes boldly. "I think Narnia is in danger again."
