"Aaww!" I accidentally cut my finger while chopping the onion.
"Daddy you can't cook" Said Luca.
"I can. It's just that I have no motivation to cook"
"Need a help?"
I saw Jisoo coming in.
"Aunty Chu!"
Ella run towards her.
"Daddy almost burn the house" Said Luca.
"Hey I haven't turn on the stove yet!" I said in defense.
"But you cut your finger already" He said.
"Admit it Leo you can't cook" Said Jisoo.
"Whatever"
"Can you help me?" I asked her.
"To cook? Hahaha no. I can't cook" She said.
"What the... I thought you will help me to prepare dinner"
"No. I mean to help you in taking care of the kids"
I shook my head.
"Wait. I will order food for us. Kids, what do you want to eat?" She asked them.
"Pizza!"
"Burger!"
Luca and Ella looking at each other.
"I want burger!" Said Ella.
"I don't want burger!" Said Luca.
"Okay okay stop it. I will order pizza and burger. What do you want Leo?"
"Ruby" I said softly.
She looked at me with pity in her eyes.
"Guys why don't you wait in the living room till the food come?"
"Okay" They said and run to the living room.
I took off my apron and tossed the onion to the trash bin, then washed my hands.
"Still no news from her?"
I took a seat and shook my head.
"I start going crazy Chu. She gives me silent treatment and nothing worse than that"
"I'm sorry. I wish I could help you"
"You help me enough by taking care of the kids"
"That's the least I can do"
"I don't know what will happen to us if you are not here. Ruby left. Rosie left as well"
"Rosie left?"
I nodded.
"She came to my studio yesterday night to say goodbye. She said it's for the best"
"She should've done that long time ago" I heard her mumbling.
"Please tell me that Ruby will come back"
"Of course she will you silly. Do you think she will abandon the kids like that? I know her more than you. She will come back for sure"
"She better come back soon. Otherwise I will kill myself"
"Ya! Are you mad?! Don't say such thing"
"I missed her Chu. I will do anything as long as she forgive me"
"Leo.. Get yourself together. Don't let the kids know about this!"
"Ella asked me the other day whether I fight with Ruby or not"
