Ruby POV

We reached the restaurant and the waitress welcomed us. Guiding us to the private room.

"Is Leo still in a meeting?" I asked her.

"All the guests have already left but Mr Manoban is still in his room with The Manager"

I nodded.

I texted him letting him know that we are at the restaurant while the kids are busy choosing their food.

"Have you decide it?" I asked them.

"Yes. I want mango sticky rice" Said Ella.

"But that supposedly for dessert"

"I want to eat mango sticky rice" She said pouting.

What's with people pouting a lot these days.

"Okay we will order it"

I placed Ella's order and ordered other food.

It's almost 30 minutes but Leo still not here yet, the foods are here. The kids are waiting for him.

"Mommy I'm hungry. Can we eat first?" Asked Ella.

I took a deep sigh. I can't let them wait, they're starving.

"Okay let's eat while waiting for Daddy" I said.

They start digging the food and I called up the waitress.

"Excuse me. Can you help to take care of the kids? I have to meet Leo"

She nodded.

"Thanks"

I made my way to his office room. And I heard a loud voice from distance as I come closer.

I opened the door and saw Leo threw papers to the manager. I widened my eyes. I have never seen this side of him before. He's always been nice to his employees.

He looked in my direction.

"You can go" He said.

The Manager bow at him and he bow at me as well as he left the room. I walked inside approaching him.

"Hey what happened?" I cupped his face.

"He screw up the report and I'm such a fool for not checking it before present it to the investors. I told Dad that I'm not into business" He said.

He looked frustrated. I don't know what kind of report he was talking about as I'm not interested in business as well. But I'm sure if he angry like that, it was terrible report.

"You have been taking care the restaurant for the past 5 years and you did well. It's just a hiccups. You can fix this"

I hugged him and caressed his back.

"Since when you are here?"

"Hmm almost an hour. I texted you when we reached but you were busy"

"I'm sorry"

"It's okay. Let's eat. The kids are waiting for us"

He nodded.

.
.

"Dad please! I need to focus on my studio. I have been postponing my exhibition because of the restaurant. I don't even remember the last time I held an exhibition ever since I took over the restaurant here. I can't do it anymore"

I saw Leo pacing back and forth in our bedroom talking to his Dad. It seems he's giving up the restaurant for the sake of his passion.

He promised his Dad that he will take over the restaurant if his parents let him marry me. Even though it took sometime for him to finally took the responsibility, it seems he can't take it anymore.
