Ruby POV
I stand in front of my house. Nervous is the only thing I feel right now.
I opened the door softly and tried to not make any sound. I saw him playing piano, and a glass of whiskey was on top of the piano.
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
His deep yet melodious voice, echoing the room. There is emotion in his voice. My legs made their own way to him.
I stood right behind him, my hands trailed to his shoulder. He turned around and looked up at me then hugged me. He rest his head on my stomach. I caressed his head.
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry" He said.
I heard him sobbing. Tears start running down on my cheeks. I don't know that I missed him this much until I hug him.
"Please don't leave me again. I can't imagine my life without you"
I rest my head on top of his head.
"I'm sorry too"
He stood up and cupped my face.
"I will do anything to fix us. To save our marriage. I love you so much Ruby"
Then he kissed me.
God knows how much I miss his lips. The love he has in every kiss.
I broke the kiss and rest our forehead against each other.
"Let's start it over" He said.
I nodded.
I wiped his tears.
"You look ugly when you cry" I said.
He laughed softly.
"I know you still love me either way"
"Cheesy Manoban"
We kissed again.
"I love you" He said.
"I love you too"
"Where are the kids?" I asked.
"At Jisoo's house. She insisted to have them tonight, I don't know why" He said.
Because I asked her to. I don't want the kids around, just in case I end up arguing with him.
"I'm glad that you are back" He said.
"I have to go home at the end of the day. And you are my home"
"Are you forgiving me now?"
"With one condition"
He furrowed his eyebrows.
"I want us to make an agreement. If you ever cheated on me again. You will sign the divorce paper right away and I will have the full custody of the kids"
"W-what? Tell me you are kidding" He said.
I walked to the couch and sat there crossing my legs.
"Take it or leave it. You hurt me once, and for sure I need a guarantee that you will never do it again"
"It was just one mistake baby. You are being unfair now"
"You want to start it over or not?"
He stood there without a word. Probably thinking.
