Ruby POV
"Ah Ruby Jane. Welcome. Please have a sit" Said Mr Yang.
Suzy and I took a seat in front of him.
"Suzy said you have something important to discuss"
"Yes and I won't take long I promise, I know your schedule is packed"
"No no it's okay. Tell me what happened?"
"I want to step back from movies"
He sit straight.
"Did I hear it right?" He asked.
I nodded.
"But why?"
"Leo will be focused on his restaurant and he closed his studio for that. I think it's time for me to reduce my work as well. Luca and Ella need me"
"But you are an actress, how come you don't do any movies?"
"Things changed Mr Yang. I'm still open for other job but for movies I cannot do it anymore. My movie with Min Ho will be my last venture"
"That's a huge step you know" He said.
"I told her the same as well" Suzy butted in.
"I know and I'm fully aware of it. But this is my decision"
"Have you think clearly about it?" He asked.
I nodded.
I saw him took a deep sigh and lean back to his chair.
"You work so hard for this and it's so unfortunate if you just let it go like that. Your fans will miss seeing you onscreen"
"I'm gonna miss doing movies as well but I had to do this. For my family"
"Okay, if you firm about it. Suzy you heard her"
I looked at Suzy and she nodded.
"I will handle the rest" He said.
"Thank you Mr Yang. I'll take a leave now. Thank you for your time"
"Just call me if you change your mind" He said.
I gave him smile and bow at him before leaving the room.
We walked back to the parking lot.
"Well, he looked so chill responding to you" Said Suzy.
"Of course he is. He already had so many talented people under his wing that he will launch anytime soon. Me taking a step back from movies won't change his revenue" I said.
"True" Said Suzy.
"Anyway, when is the schedule for editing? I need to sit with the director during the process" I said.
"It's next month"
"Alright, remind me again"
"And you have photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar with Leo in 2 days. I hope you don't forget that"
I stopped my step in the hallway.
"Shit!"
"Don't tell me you haven't tell Leo"
I showed her my white teeth.
"I'm sorry. So much going on. I will tell him today. I don't have schedule right after this?"
She shook her head.
"Good"
I took out my phone and call him.
