Parental Advice

Augustine held back tears as he walked home. It wasn't until he even reached Hell did he realize Winnie had left early. His mind began to panic again. He really must've messed up with Winnie in order for him to leave early. Had he shocked them. He didn't have any powers that dealt with electricity. What had he done? He ruined everything.

Before he knew it he was in front of his apartment. He wasn't ready to face his parents yet, but there was nowhere else to go. He didn't know anyone else down here, and Winnie wasn't there to talk to. He wasn't ready to ask for advice from there. Though there were two other places he could go. Maybe they wouldn't tell his parents. Quickly Augustine turned around. Still trying to hold back tears.

In a few minutes he was in Greed. Several people tried to sell him some stuff. Yet he ignored them as he made his way to a familiar mansion. He was a little scared when he opened the doors, and almost immediately he spotted Amiel. She was busy talking with another demon. Though as soon she started showing more demonic looking features the woman scampered past him out the door. Causing her to notice him immediately.

"Augustine, what are you doing here?" Amiel asked yet Augustine couldn't find it in him to speak. He was half tempted to run back to the garden and to just cry in Lucifer's old cave.

"Here. Come with me." Amiel said as she beckoned for him to follow. She walked slowly and looked back at him, but she did not lay a hand on him. Letting him follow her. He did so. Flipping his hood up as Amiel guided him to her office.

"Here, take a seat. Do you want some tea?" Augustine nodded as she walked over to a table that had tea making sections.

"Do your parents know you're here?" She asked, Augustine shook his head.

"Please don't tell them." He muttered weakly. Amiel gave him a concerned look.

"I won't tell them right now, but if stuff gets worse, and when you leave then I will. I won't tell them anything when you do leave." Augustine nodded as in a second the tea was done. Amiel walked over and handed him the cup.

"Here. This will help calm you down." Augustine took it with shaky hands as he took a sip. The tea tasted surprisingly sweet yet the warm water still gave it a hint of bitterness. Amiel pulled up another chair and sat across from him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Amiel asked, Augustine shook his head as his tears were already starting to flow.

"Hey, hey don't worry about telling me I understand if you just want to chill. Take your time if you want to talk. And if you don't that's okay. I don't want you going home alone distressed." Amiel said with a bright smile. Augustine nodded, not looking up as he continued to stare at the tea with shaky hands. He took another sip in a pathetic attempt to calm himself. Stop the tears from flowing yet without a doubt they were silently falling down his face.

Amiel sat in her chair. Patiently waiting as tears continued to fall while he silently cried. Outside the small gasps for air and sniffs. Amiel stood up at one point before returning with a box of tissues. Placing them on a table next to him. Augustine took one and blew into it before Amiel returned with a trash can.

Augustine felt slightly awful. He felt like a burden for using her supply. Maybe she could lend some advice. Though he gave himself more time to calm down. All while Amiel sat quietly letting him cry in front of him. When his tea was about half way done and he finally had started to calm down.

"I messed up." Augustine said as Amiel raised her brow.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I lied to everyone when I said I didn't have any friends. I've been hanging out with one person, and I did something wrong." Augustine said as he wiped his eyes. Amiel let out a reluctant sigh.
