Khokar paya hai
Aaj mujhe mera hi
Saaya nazar aaya hai"

(Ruhanika)

After dinner, the family gathered in the cozy living room, sharing stories and laughter that extended the warmth of their meal. The room was filled with a comforting sense of togetherness as everyone relaxed, enjoying each other's company. Soft chuckles and quiet conversations filled the air, with a few good-natured teases mixed in, bringing smiles to every face. Gradually, as the night wore on, everyone began to feel the gentle pull of sleep. Gradually, family members started saying their goodnights, exchanging smiles and affectionate glances as they headed toward their rooms.

Rudraksh: "Kartavya bhai, Do minute mere naal aayo na, kuch important gal karni si."
(Kartavya bhai, can you come with me for a couple of minutes? I need to discuss something important.)

Ruhanika: "Jii kya aap humare sath nahi aa rahe ???"
(Aren't you coming with me?)

Rudraksh: "Sohneyo bas 10 minute me aaya, tum jao room me."
(My love, I'll be there in just 10 minutes. You go ahead to the room.)

Ruhanika nodded and, along with the others, headed to their respective rooms for the night. However, Rudraksh and Kartavya exchanged a look, silently agreeing to stay behind. They quietly made their way to the study room, closing the door softly behind them. Once inside, Rudraksh turned the lock, ensuring their conversation would remain private.

Kartavya: "Kya baat hai, kya kaha little sunshine ne??"
(What's up? What did Little Sunshine say?)

Rudraksh and Kartavya settled onto the couch, the weight of the day’s events lingering between them. Rudraksh leaned back, resting his head against the headrest, and closed his eyes, exhaling slowly. His mind replayed the intense moments with Ruhanika, each memory stirring emotions he couldn’t easily shake.

Kartavya: "Rudraaa"

Rudraksh: "Bhai, us raat mujhe bachane wali koi aur nahi balki meri Ruhh thi."
(Bhai, the one who saved me that night was none other than my Ruh.)

Kartavya’s eyes widened in shock as he looked over at Rudraksh.

Kartavya: "The incident from 17 years ago??"

Rudraksh nodded slowly.

Kartavya: "How’s that possible?"

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh ne bataya sab kuch, and usse mujhe ek doubt aaya hai ab."
(Ruhhh told me everything, and now I have a suspicion.)

Kartavya: "Kya bataya??"
(What did she say?)

Rudraksh recounted everything Ruhanika had shared with him about that night 17 years ago. As he spoke, the weight of each word seemed to fill the room, and Kartavya listened intently, his expression shifting from concern to shock. The details Ruhanika revealed were unexpected and painted a picture that neither of them had anticipated. Kartavya’s brow furrowed, trying to comprehend the gravity of what Rudraksh had just told him. The room fell silent for a moment after Rudraksh finished, the impact of the revelation sinking in for both men. Kartavya finally spoke.

Kartavya: "This means there’s a high chance that..."

Rudraksh: "Haa bhai, main bhi vahi soch raha hu, aur agar aisa hua toh kitna kuch sahi ho jayega"
(Yes, bhai, I’m thinking the same. And if that’s true, so many things will fall into place.)

Kartavya: "Call Kiya??"
(Did you make the call?)

Rudraksh: "Haan, kal subah tak sab pata chal jayega."
(Yes, by tomorrow morning, we should know everything.)
