"Vo humari rag rag me samaye hai,
Humari zindagi ko diye unhone mayne hai,
Har saan me unhi ko chaaha hai,
Unke prem me samarpit ho, humne khudko bhi bhulaya hai"

(Ruhanika)

It was Rudraksh's 30th birthday, and the family had celebrated it with immense love and joy right at home. The house had been filled with laughter, cake, heartfelt wishes, and countless memories captured in pictures. But the celebration wasn't over yet Ruhanika had something special planned.

Now, as the evening set in, she was taking Rudraksh somewhere else for a surprise. After a long teasing session from their ever-playful family, filled with knowing smirks and cheeky remarks, the two finally managed to step out of the house, hand in hand, with soft smiles on their faces.

Ruhanika looked stunning in a long, subtle grey gown that flowed elegantly with every step. A delicate black bow belt cinched her waist, adding the perfect contrast. Rudraksh, on the other hand, looked effortlessly handsome in a casual white shirt layered with a grey jacket, paired with blue jeans and crisp white sneakers. As they reached the car, Ruhanika, with a twinkle in her eye, opened the passenger side door for Rudraksh.

Ruhanika: "Aaiye Aksh, baithiye"
(Please come, Aksh. Have a seat.)

Rudraksh: "Ek Sec Betu, Car tum drive karogi??"
(One second, Sweetheart. You're going to drive the car??)

Ruhanika: "Jiii ab hum aapko lekar ja rahe hai toh hum hi karenge na"
(Yes! Since I'm taking you somewhere, obviously I'll be the one driving.)

Rudraksh: "Ji nahi, aap bilkul drive nahi karengi, Sohneyo "
(Absolutely not. You are not going to drive, sweetheart.)

Ruhanika: "Kya, par kyu??"
(What? But why not??)

Rudraksh walked up to her gently, his eyes filled with tenderness. He cupped her face softly, his thumb brushing against her cheek. The warmth of his touch made her close her eyes for a moment, melting into his affection as a faint smile curved her lips.

Rudraksh: "Kyuki Mera betu, tum aur tumhara vo bhai, tum dono ko ek baar steering wheel mil jati hai, toh tum dono airplane aur car ke beech ka farak bhool jate ho"
(Because, my dear, you and your brother, once either of you get your hands on a steering wheel, you forget the difference between an airplane and a car.)

Ruhanika shot him a sharp glare, slapped his chest lightly in mock anger, and then turned away with a huff, crossing her arms over her chest in dramatic protest.

Ruhanika: "Hum baat nahi karenge aapse, hum thode se naraz hai, hum mumma banne wale hai aur aapne kaha tha ki kisi baat ko mana nahi karenge, phir bhi mana kar rahe hai"
(I'm not talking to you anymore. I'm a little upset. I'm going to be a mom, and you promised not to say no to anything. Yet, you're saying no now.)

Ruhanika lowered her head, a hint of mischief dancing in her eyes despite the innocent expression she wore. Rudraksh smiled knowingly, immediately catching on, she was trying to manipulate him again. For the past few days, any time she made an unusual or unnecessary demand, she would cleverly shift the blame onto the baby. "The baby wants it," she would say with a straight face, knowing full well that Rudraksh had no defense against that line. And true to his nature as the doting, ideal husband, he never argued. Whether it was late-night cravings, spontaneous shopping sprees, or simply wanting to cuddle at odd hours, Rudraksh fulfilled every wish without hesitation, melting every time she played the 'baby card.'

Rudraksh: "Vo maine chutku betu ke liye kaha tha, betu"
(I made that promise for our little baby, dear.)

Ruhanika: "Ha toh gadi chalane ki ichcha bhi nanhe baby ko hi hai, Akshh"
(Well, even this wish to drive is our tiny baby's wish, Aksh.)
