"Milan ki raat hai, khushiyo ki barsaat hai,
Har kona roshan, vidhi ka bhi yahi vidhaan hai,
Saath pheron mein likh rahe hai nayi prem kahani,
Ishq ke is jashn mein rab ka bhi ashirvaad hai"

Today was a day etched in tradition, emotion, and the most sacred vows of love the wedding day of Rudraksh and Ruhanika. The celebrations began with a deeply emotional and symbolic ritual Ruhanika's chooda ceremony, an essential part of every Punjabi bride's journey. Traditionally performed by the bride's maternal uncle, this ritual had a special meaning today. Since Ruhanika didn't have her maternal uncle present, Akshat Rajshree, Akshavi's father, stepped forward with warmth and sincerity, taking on the role with all his heart. With tears in his eyes and a proud smile on his face, he tied the sacred red and white bangles on Ruhanika's wrists, blessing her with happiness, prosperity, and strength for the new phase of her life.
Later in the morning, as per Punjabi traditions, the couple took their sacred vows during the Anand Karaj ceremony at the Gurudwara. The setting was serene, divine, and soaked in spiritual grace.
Ruhanika looked ethereal in a pastel peach lehenga, adorned with delicate peacock embroidery, a symbol of beauty and grace. Her jewelry added to her radiance a blend of tradition and elegance. Her dupatta was pinned gracefully over her head as she sat beside Rudraksh, her eyes full of peace and purpose.
Rudraksh matched her grace with regal charm in a pastel peach sherwani, his look completed with a traditional kirpan (sword) tucked at his side a mark of honor and protection. The aura around him was a blend of pride and humility as he took each laavan (wedding round) with his bride, promising lifelong companionship, faith, and love.
After the serene and beautiful ceremony, the couple stepped out hand-in-hand for their wedding photoshoot. Under soft light, with their peach-toned outfits perfectly complementing the golden hues of the day, they created memories to be treasured forever.
Following the shoot, Rudraksh, along with the groom's side, headed to a luxury hotel owned by Ashvik, where they were to stay and prepare for the evening baraat. The baraat would return to take Ruhanika home in a grand celebration the final, joyous chapter of their wedding day. Today wasn't just a wedding it was the union of two souls, steeped in tradition, wrapped in love, and celebrated by a family that had poured their hearts into every ritual and detail.
The evening of Rudraksh and Ruhanika's wedding unfolded like a scene straight out of a royal fairytale one dipped in elegance, emotion, and the kind of love that becomes a legacy.
As the sun set behind the palace, soft pastel flowers bloomed under golden yellow lights, creating a dreamlike ambience. The palace shimmered with royalty not loud, but subtle and timeless. Every detail whispered luxury, from the glinting chandelier reflections to the scent of roses and mogra in the air.
Security was tight not just because of the stature of the event, but due to the high-profile names like Ashvik, Rudraksh, and Kartavya, whose powerful business empires often attracted unwanted attention. Entry was granted only through a verification process, where each guest had to present a personalized glass invitation card, with their name elegantly engraved. It wasn't just an invite it was a statement. A token of thoughtfulness, sophistication, and security.
As guests entered, they were welcomed in grandeur a shower of rose petals, traditional music playing softly in the background, and a beautifully wrapped sapling handed to each one as a symbol of good luck and blessings. It wasn't just a wedding it was an experience no one would forget.
