EMMA SWAN

I'm back on my witch hunt. I need to get Henry's book. I have no idea where he keeps it these days. I get my walkie out of the back of my car. "Kid are you there?" Nothing. "Henryyyy." Nothing. "Kid pick up it's urgent."

"I'm here, I'm here."

"I need your book."

"There's nothing about the witch in here." I groan. "You have to find a way to break the curse. Like last time."

"I don't think I'm the one who has to break it." One of those monkeys appears in the middle of the road. "Seriously?" I just stay in my car. It's walking in the street. The monkey feels familiar. I get out and it walks up and takes my necklace.

"Hey give that back!" It gives it back and touches the car. It does and twisting motion with its hand. "What the hell... Neal?"

He nods and starts twitching. I use my magic on him. He gets back to normal and hugs me. "Emma. Thank you." He hugs me tightly and I push him off.

"Don't touch me."

"I'm sorry. But thank you,"

"Yeah whatever."

"That witch is fucking insane. She's got my dad locked in a storm cellar and she's turning people into monkeys left and right."

"Where's the cellar?"

"I dont know how to get there."

"There's people in town who will help you."

"You're not gonna go look for it?" He asks.

"I am. You're not."

He groans. "Emma it's my father she's keeping down there. Let me come with you."

"No. Go to town." He doesn't push it and leaves. I call Regina instead.

"What do you want, Emma?"

"I have a lead."

"Great. Where are you?"

"Back up. Take Henry to my parents then come. I don't need him getting hurt. Then meet me at the station. We'll go from there."

"Ok." She hangs up and twenty minutes later walks into the station.

"So apparently Rumple is being kept in a cellar by the wicked witch."

"Storm cellar? I don't know of any houses that have a storm cellar in this town."

"Then it should be easy to find."

We go to my car and drive on the outer parts of twine and through the woods. There's a big open plot of land that I swear was not here before. And what a shock. A storm cellar. Regina and I both get out of the car. I pick the lock on the storm cellar.

"Oh so what she's stupid enough to leave the door to The Dark One in our grasp?" Regina laugh.

"She's not stupid, you're stupid for thinking it would be that easy." A different voice says from behind us. I point my gun at her. "Oh please cut it, Savior. We both know you're not going to be able to hurt me. After all, I do have The Dark One on my side." She pulls the dagger out of her jacket.

"Enough with the threats, witch. Why the hell are you here and terrorizing everyone?"

"Oh relax. I want nothing to do with this stupid town." She takes a step closer to Regina. "I want to ruin your life just like you did mine."

"What the hell are you talking about? I don't even know you."

She groans. "I forgot you don't have your memories. You're my little sister! Our mother had me first and sent me off in a cyclone to Oz. She kept you though! She gave you the perfect life and you're just wasting it away on being good." Her neck is turning green.

"Calm down greenie. If what you're saying is true then you don't know how lucky you are. My mother was awful."

She laughs. "You don't know how terrible Oz was! How terrible it was to be forced to hide away my magic or Id be called a monster! You had someone to guide you, to teach you how to use your magic for evil. Well let me tell you something sis, wicked will always, always win!" She poofs away in a green puff of smoke and Regina just stands there in shock.

"Talk about a drama queen."

"Well I ruined her life." Regina poofs away and I get back in my car. Three missed calls from Hook. I smile and call him back.

"Emma. Thank gosh you called back, I need help with the children. Are you able to come over?"

I smile bigger. "Yeah I'm on my way." I hang up and go to his house. I let myself in and the place is a mess. Hooks a mess. I just left him yesterday. Laylas toys are all over the rug in the living room. There's baby bottles and diapers everywhere. Hooks covered in spit up and drool and various other things. The kids look happy though. I take Liam from him and set him down on the couch surrounded by pillows so he can't fall.

"Thank you."

"Take your shirt off and I'll go start your laundry." He takes it off and I take it along with the various other things that are scattered across the floor. I start the washer and go back to him. "Go get some clean clothes on, I'll get the bottles taken care of." I go wash the bottles and lay them out to dry. "Layla you need to clean up your toys please, I'm gonna order pizza for dinner so get cleaned up."

"Yay! Ok! Can you help?"

I nod and help her pick up all the toys. Hook comes out of his bedroom when Laylas putting her toys away in her room. "How nice to see you not covered in baby puke."

"Why thank you."

"I ordered a pizza for dinner. Liam fell asleep, and Laylas cleaning up. Do you want me to stay until they go to bed?"

"You don't have to."

He wants me to stay. I think. "I think I will." I hold his hook. He smiles. Layla closes her door. "I'm glad you called."

"You are?"

"Yeah. It's nice to get a break from all the crazy."

"This isn't crazy to you?"

"No, it's just normal family life. Crazy is when your baby daddy gets turned into a flying monkey and tries to talk to you like everything's normal."

"Baelfire's back?"

"Yeah he is."

"Oh." He takes his hook back.

I pick it back up. "I'm not going back to him you know."

"Yeah..."

"Killian." I pick his hand up too. "I'm not going back to someone that hurt me like he did."

"It's really not my business."

I stand on my toes and kiss him. I pull back and he looks so shocked. He's adorable. "I think it could be your business."
