A New York Getaway

October 2015

Sooyoung and Eddie Nam followed Eric and Seohyun as they made their flight to New York City. They made their presence discreet by being silent and covering their faces. For Eddie he felt pain seeing his older brother is so much distress. His fake wife was being very affectionate towards him that is distutbed him. Eric Nam was a guy not used to talking with women. Even when they were growing up he barely spoke to girls.

He couldn't understand why this girl was so in love with him to the point it becomes obsession. He then saw Sooyoung who went to sleep to prepare for the long day.

"It's hard to believe this was once the girl who was in love with my brother. I wasn't there to see most of it but I did see some of it. She must feel a lot of guilt for trying to stop her friend. This pretend they're playing ends now. I will save you brother just be patient." Eddie decided to get some shuteye.

After several hours the plane finally landed. Eddie then woke Sooyoung up after the main couple left the plane. With a subtle nod the two walked out of the airport. Both were astonished at the sight that was New York City.

Many famous landmarks and skyscrapers can be seen from a distance. Last time Eddie was this impressed when he first saw Seoul during a trip.

"Wow... Is this real? I mean not even Seoul looks like this. It looks like a megacity that has no end. How did America create such a place?"

"Immigration... The United States is called the "Melting Pot" because immigrants from across the world comes here. Korean, Chinese, Indian, African, Arab, Caribbean, Mexican, Italian, Polish, Jewish, German, the list honestly can go forever. This is my first time seeing such a place. I only heard about it from movies but seeing it here is different. I'm kinda glad I get to take with trip with you Sooyoung." Eddie said feeling calm now.

Perhaps this trip wouldn't be such a drag after all. There's no harm in enjoying some scenery as long they are aware where their target is. Good thing about their relationship is publicized.

Eddie and Sooyoung drove a cab to follow whenever their target was at. They continued to marvel at the big city as they drove this gigantic bridge where Manhattan is. There they got to see Fifth Avenue where a bunch of department stories drove people in. They saw Rockefeller Plaza, the Empire State Building, even passing through Broadway.

"This looks almost like Gangnam district. It's crazy how similar New York is to Seoul." Sooyoung said.

"Every single movie I grew up with had New York as the main setting. Home Alone 2 was a favorite of mine's to watch. Every single Christmas I would dream of visiting the Big Apple. It feels like a part of my childhood has been accomplished." Eddie said with a gleeful smile.

Sooyoung was chuckling internally. It seemed this guy was a lot cuter than she originally thought. She was going to have a great time.

The first day involved their target walking around Central Park as they took the immense view of nature. There was lots of space for the couple to walk to. Trees that sprouted for miles with every single rodent living peacefully inside. They crossed a massive bridge where the took in the view of the river. Eddie took the scenery of people walking their dogs, children playing tag with each other, mothers engaging in gossip, couples having a romantic walk much like Eric and Sooyoung were having.

Nearby was the Central Park Zoo and Eddie got to see the abundant of species.

"Wow look oppa they're like so gigantic!!" Sooyoung was looking at the giraffes.

"They're giants from over here. I wonder what's their story?" Eddie asked.

"I hear they live all over Africa! Imagine seeing them in the wild oppa. I would be terrified!!" Sooyoung walked over to where the elephants were.
