Ryeowook has been Super Junior's most important vocalist. In fact he has the largest line distribution next to Kyuhyun. His unique tenor style voice has allowed him to sing leap beyond most would expect of idols. He stood a little shorter than his members but his vocal presence was enough for people to notice.

To Eric Nam he was simply Wookie: a nickname given to Ryeowook as a tongue in cheek play on words referring to the race of aliens from Star Wars. According to the American maknae his full name was too hard to pronounce so he called him "Wookie". The name has been used by Elfs since then.

"Congratulations on your debut Wookie-ah I'm so proud of you!! This calls for a celebration!" Eric Nam embraced him.

"I knew you would show up Eric. I'm so happy you finally were able to resolve your conflict. I haven't seen you smile like this in years. That's what I missed from you." Wookie said with a joyful smile.

"It was a tough call to make. I never have expected Seohyun-ah to have feelings but I blame myself for being ignorant. From here on I'm living with honesty. I'm so tired of hiding my feelings, I've been making up for lost times." Eric confessed.

"None of this was your fault got it? MBC deliberated baited tyou knowing full well about your relationship!! What they did is absolutely shameless! It's why we stopped appearing on Show Music Core! I want to stop blaming yourself for everything!! Enjoy your life with your girlfriend that's all I want from you." Wookie got emotional pulling Eric Nam by the shirt.

"Wookie hyung..." Eric was caught off guard by the normally timid Ryeowook.

"I'm just sick of seeing you suffer over trivial things. We're not in our rookie days anymore. Nobody will care what we do. We're adults, not teenagers. It's okay to pursue love" Wookie clarified.

"Gomawo hyung you truly are amazing. I don't know how I would live without you." Nam chuckled.

He watch his closest friend song his heart out in a way that was beautiful. Part of the lyrics contains the struggles of being in a relationship. For the longest time he spent his younger years trying to understand Ailee. He felt like he in a different universe from her but as they got closer he got to see the real Ailee. He saw a woman trying to find herself, her place in the industry, her musical identity.

Since the confession one and a half year later they were not together. It's a song Eric could personally relate to.
