Chapter XXVI: Miraculous Rebirth

     Sapphira gets phone by Sarafina and informs her about the great news. Her father's body was found by the police on a hanging rock by the nearby cliff. He was discovered near the crime scene unconscious, but alive as well! It was proposed that he was able to escape his handcuffs and had time to escape the bomb. It is proposed that the shockwave blew him down the hill unconscious, explaining his prescence by the hanging rock on the adjacent cliff. Sarafina informs her to visit the hospital ASAP with the rest of the members. The great news was relayed, but the bad news was still there. Ron is in a critical condition right now and only has 20% chance of living. Arriving at the hospital, Spencer and Sapphira slowly approached their father and embraced his body. Sapphira started to become emotional stating that she is sorry for her ruthless attitude and nestles under his arm. After the emotional scene, they proceed outside the ICU as Sapphira phones Johnny. About to press the call button, she wasn't sure if she was ready so she texts him instead.

     Johnny recieves the text and gets surprized by the news. He spreads it to his mom which shocks her. Betty drops her glass and stands paralyzed. Johnny informs him about how he was found, how he was recovered and how he was proposed to escape the building. Betty pretends to be happy for Ron and decides to visit him along with Johnny. Betty hurriedly put on her clothes and was puzzled by Johhny's laziness. He remarked that he wasn't ready to visit Sapphira. Betty smiles and proceeds to the hospital. Arriving, Sapphira embraces Betty and asks her on where Johnny is. Betty states that he has a high fever, and that he can't go out. Betty proceeds to the room and glances at the fragile body of Ron. As another plan, she plots to kill Ron later by increasing the capacity of his feeding tube when no one is around. Waiting for everyone to leave, she takes a magazine and reads throughout the hour.

     As night falls, the family decides to have dinner while Betty requests to stay and keep watch of Ron. As their prescence was terminated, she slowly walks toward Ron and takes a final glimpse of the collapsed man. Suddenly, Ron wakes up and finds Betty in front of him. Betty remarks her final words, "Long live Ronelle House..." as Ron shockingly recognizes her voice. Betty then starts to strangle Ron and ensures a fight. With his lifeline becoming worse, he suddenly loses his life and dies... Betty fixes him up as if nothing happened. As she is about to mess up with his feeding tube as a reason of his death, Ron once again wakes up shocking Nicole. She grabs a tray and hits Ron   so hard which hurts him badly. He presses the nurse-call button which angers Nicole. She hits Ron one last time which knocks him out.

     With only a minute of preparing, she tries to keep her deep panthing down and cleans the room hurriedly. She made sure Ron looked as normal as possible and fixed herself. She was able to think of a false story about the pushing of the nurse-call button. She puts up the normal capacity of Ron's feeding tube and once again, Ron wakes up. Betty smiles one last time as Ron falls asleep. Nurses arrive in the room with Betty. She hugs a male nurse who asks her on what the problem is. She fakely remarks that a ghost tried to attack them and that the ghost nearly stabbed Ron. She was comforted as the House family arrives to hear the news. As she decides to leave, she reminds them to always keep an eye out for Ron, fakingly giving a "take care" message to the family. She leaves and finally goes home late at night.
