Chapter XV: The Chamber of Secrets

     The two manages to reach down to a large hallway reaching to a beautifully adorned chamber. They enter the chamber and were surprized to see what they saw... They were amazed on the chamber and shocked. Sapphira saw hundreds of memorabilias on her grandmother Kiara. She found so many unseen pictures of her younger years and statues of her. She kept wondering who the other man was since none of them resembled nor described her grandfather Andrew. As they reach the end of the chamber, they discover a life-sized marble statue of Kiara and the unknown man resting on a granite pedestal-platform. They read the granite marker and read "It just takes two, to make it true... -Kiara" as the two were in awe. Johnny gets shocked to see a golden plaque reading: Richard Rutherford ∞ Kiara Marston and at the base of the granite pedestal was engraved with "In Every Side of Storms, There Will Always Be A Rainbow... -Richard". He shouted to Sapphira that it was his father's name and was extremely puzzled and curious at the moment. The two begin to argue...

     As the two went down to the chamber of secrets, Spencer arrives in the cabin also discovering an open gap below the fireplace. He finds the Griffin Insignia fitted in the indentation and tries to reach for it. As Sapphira and Johnny were arguing, Spencer manages to take off the insignia and flls on the floor. He remarks "YES!" but just in a moment, the fireplace lowered and closed the secret door. He ignores this and just sat down the lounge to analyze the insignia. Meanwhile inside the chamber, the "oculus" above the central part of the chamber bursts out  water and starts to flood the chamber. The two strides across the hallway to the secret entrance but wasn't able to get out in time. Just as it shuts, the hallway's columns burst out with water further flooding the chamber. They rush back to the main chamber and look for a way out.

     As they returned, the place was flooding faster and faster. They looked for other entrances, but none of them seems to exist. As they were floating near the ceiling, Johnny remembers the message at the granite platform and manages to combine the main motto and the second message. It is that Johnny thinks there is another indentation somewhere in the chamber that will stop the "storm" using the other halves of the emblem. He dives and tries to find it while Sapphira stays afloat. He manages to find it and inserts it. Before that, he was blown by the current and the two halves separate. He tries hard to retrieve both back and succeeds. The entire chamber was flooded and Sapphira was forced to drown. Just as Johnny was able to put it in place, he loses his breath and drowns. The water lowers and resides...

     After the water nearly drains, Sapphira coughs up and rushes to Johnny to revive him. Depressed that she can't do it, she tries harder. The underground chamber fully drains then suddenly, the place began to blow air around to dry. The temperature increased as it dried the chamber as the cool breeze assisted in dehumidifying the place. Just as the dehumidifying process ends, Spencer puts the insignia back and opens the chamber once again. He goes down and finds the two. Spencer was curious on who the man was but Sapphira just insisted on reviving him. Johnny was able to survive and finally regains consciousness. Johnny formally introduces himself and just briefs himself being Sapphira's "best friend" the whole time. As they gave time for Spencer to check the place out, they finally leave and agree to NEVER talk about what they discovered and what they've been through. They separate the emblems once again and Johnny chooses to meet the House Family. They see that Sarafina is already finally well. After his introduction, he was invited to join dinner and proudly accepts. Ron never noticed that it was the same guy he scolded from uptown and Johnny just briefs the family he's from a nearby subdivision close uptown. After dinner, he leaves and goes home without another word. Sapphira's still curious about the mysterious cabin's secret chamber. Both twins are puzzled by the secrecy of the cabin but both refuse to spill out information regarding it. Because of the danger they faced inside the chamber, none of the twins nor Johnny decided to visit the cabin once more.
