The two stop two blocks away from the estate and takes a shortcut via a hole in the estate property fence. This leads them immediately to the backyard and runs to the forest to prevent anyone from discovering them. They stumble across the halved lion insignia and analyze it. Sapphira recognized the emblem and saw it was the family insignia. The two felt proud that their families both had family insignia emblems. Since the lion emblem also formed a shield, they took it in and proceeded to the cabin.

They turn on the power and proceed to the fireplace. The two insert the eagle insignia but nothing happens. They join the halved lion insignia and insert it in the indentation too however, nothing also happens. As they try hard to remove it, Scotty accidentally bumps the eagle crest and drops on the solid wood floor. The insignia breaks in half like the lion crest. Scotty gets disappointed on this and joins it back. Sapphira gets puzzled and Scotty finds a dusty golden plaque. It reads "It just takes two, to make it true" which makes them go puzzle solving. Frustrated, Sapphira drops their family emblem on Scotty's foot and breaks again. This causes Scotty to drop the eagle crest and causes it to break across the lion crest. The two just left the emblems scattered and sat down at the lounge frustrated. They faced the fireplace and recited the message over and over again. It was then Sapphira recalled her intense nightmare about the lion and the eagle.

She tells this to Scotty which means that the emblems symbolize something. They once again go toward the fireplace and analyze the emblems. They got the two insignias and joined them once again. They take the two crests and put them together above the fireplace. Sapphira gets stuck on a spider web and freaks out. Her overacting manages to pull down a red cover above the fireplace and reveals a mural of a Griffin. The emblems drop once more and break, this time one half of the lion crest was put near to the opposite half of an eagle crest. The full messge actually reads: "To Reveal the Path... It Just Takes Two, To Make It True..." They look at the formed insignia and recites "It just takes two, to make it true" message again. They look up the Griffin mural and join the left half of the House Family Insignia to the right half of the Rutherford Family Insignia. This makes the joined halves glow from its golden component as the two slowly put it in the indentation. The Griffin Insignia was formed after the eagle and the lion.

Just as they inserted it, the fireplace magicaly lit and the fireplace went up to the ceiling, revealing a secret door. They take the remaining halves of the emblems in case of emergency and proceed down to the mysterious cave. It had a grand entrance and a grand staircase reaching down to the chamber.
