7. Allies and Enemies (season 1)

Old allies return, but trust issues lead to conflicts within the team.

[Scene: The team is gathered in their secret base after a fierce battle with the Alliance of Shadows. Ben is standing in front of the group, looking exhausted but determined. Kevin is leaning against a wall, arms crossed, looking frustrated. Gwen is sitting, her face troubled, while Kassandra stands near the back, arms folded, watching everything silently.]

Ben:
(Sighs, running a hand through his hair)
"Alright, we may have won this round, but that was too close. We can't keep going like this, not with the Alliance so close to getting their hands on the Omnitrix."

Kevin:
(Scoffs)
"Yeah, well, it's hard to keep fighting when half the team's more concerned about personal drama than actually saving the world."
(His gaze shifts to Gwen and Kassandra.)

Gwen:
(Sits up, her tone sharp)
"Kevin, don't bring this up now. We're in the middle of a war, and you're going to make everything about-"

Kassandra:
(Interrupts, stepping forward)
"About what, Gwen? About Ben? Is that what this is all about?"
(She shoots a pointed look at Gwen, her tone cold but hurt.)

Gwen:
(Stands up, facing Kassandra):
"I'm not the one making this personal. You're the one who keeps letting your feelings for Ben cloud your judgment, Kassandra."
(Her voice trembles with a mix of frustration and sadness.)

Kevin:
(Mutters under his breath)
"Great, here we go again..."
(He turns to Ben, raising an eyebrow.)
"Ben, you're the leader. Do something about this. We've got real enemies to deal with, not just whatever mess this is."

Ben:
(Puts his hands up, trying to diffuse the situation)
"Guys, please... This is exactly what the Alliance of Shadows wants. They want us divided. We've got to stay united. We don't have time for these personal issues."

Kassandra:
(Laughs bitterly)
"Easy for you to say, Ben. You're the golden boy. You don't have to deal with the complications."
(Her eyes flick to Gwen, then back to Ben.)
"At least I've been honest about my feelings."

Gwen:
(Clenches her fists)
"And I've been trying to keep this team together! But every time I turn around, you're acting like some kind of... of... trophy, Kassandra."
(Gwen's eyes flash with magic, the air crackling with her power.)

Kevin:
(Steps forward, trying to calm things down)
"Enough, both of you! This isn't going to help anyone. We're sitting here fighting each other, and Eon's out there messing with time itself. Focus! We can sort this out later, alright?"

Ben:
(Looks at both girls, his voice firm yet full of uncertainty)
"Kevin's right. This isn't about us right now, it's about stopping Eon. We need to stop him. And if we don't get our act together, all of this is going to fall apart. Not just the team, but everything we're fighting for."

Kassandra:
(Glares at Kevin, then back to Ben)
"Fine. But I'm not going to sit back and pretend everything's okay either. We all have our own demons to fight, Ben. Some of us just don't have the luxury of pretending they don't exist."

Gwen:
(Hurt, but trying to stay strong)
"Stop making this about you, Kassandra. You're not the only one with problems. We're all under pressure. But we have to work together. That's the only way we're going to beat the Alliance."

Ben:
(Turns to the team, his voice softer)
"Look, we've been through a lot. We're a team, and we need to trust each other. We can't do this if we're pulling in different directions."
(He takes a deep breath, looking each of them in the eye.)
"Let's put everything on the table. Let's stop pretending like we're invincible. Let's talk about this, not in the middle of a battle, but now, while we still have time."
