27. Shadows Rising (season 2)

The Alliance of Shadows makes their first move. Johan Azman reveals his Abyssal Executioner Armor while unleashing the deadly Shadow Reapers.

[Scene: Tennyson Military Base - Briefing Room - Night]

[The room is dimly lit. Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Carl, and Sandra are gathered around a holographic table. A globe shows red flares at multiple locations worldwide. Alarms are softly blaring.]

Carl Tennyson: (gravely) This isn't an isolated attack. These strikes are coordinated. Simultaneous. Whoever did this wanted to send a message.

Ben: Or a threat. This is Vilgax. He's back. And this time, he's not hiding behind monsters or mercenaries. He's broadcasting it.

Sandra: He called himself Johan Azman in the message. Why the disguise?

Gwen: Not just a disguise. A way to infiltrate. I sensed dark magic laced in his words. Ancient, corrosive, like he's bound to something deeper.

Kevin: (looking at his damaged Antitrix) Those shadow freaks weren't normal. I blasted one point blank and it reformed like smoke. It felt... alive. Like it fed off energy.

Ben: (frustrated) We can't fight shadows with fists. We need a strategy. What's their target?

Carl: Alien DNA cores. High-tech relics. Magical seals. They're hitting everything linked to the Omniverse. This is about control.

Sandra: And fear. These attacks happened during a full moon, synchronized with a solar eclipse. This is ritualistic.

Ryutora: (appearing in a flash of celestial light) Indeed. You face more than a warlord now. Vilgax has merged with abyssal energy. He wears armor forged in the void between stars.

Gwen: (startled but respectful) Ryutora... thank you for coming.

Ryutora: The Shadow Reapers are his creations. Wraiths born from his hatred and bound by magic. They seek not conquest, but collapse.

Ben: We need to stop them. Now. Before they reach the Omnitrix core vault.

Carl: Agreed. I'll lead a squad to the Nevada outpost. Kevin, Gwen, take East Africa. Ben... you head to Mount Merapi. There's an energy beacon spiking there.

Kevin: (gritting his teeth) The Antitrix is unstable. But if I see those freaks again, I'll make sure they remember me.

Sandra: Be careful, all of you. This is no longer a game of heroes and villains.

[Cut to: Mount Merapi - Volcanic Ridge - Midnight. Mist and ash swirl. Ben climbs a rocky path alone.]

Ben: (tapping his Omnitrix) Not the best terrain for a team meeting...

[Suddenly, three SHADOW REAPERS phase into existence. Humanoid but featureless, cloaked in swirling darkness. Their voices echo like whispers.]

Shadow Reaper 1: The bearer of light approaches.

Shadow Reaper 2: He carries the seed of resistance.

Shadow Reaper 3: He must be extinguished.

Ben: You guys talk too much.

[Ben slams the Omnitrix. TRANSFORMS into Omniversal Knight Celestial Tiger. His form glows gold and white with swirling blue stripes.]

Ben (transformed): Let's dance.

[INTENSE FIGHT. Ben blocks energy chains with his celestial blade, dashes through lava bursts, and counters shadow attacks with radiant shockwaves.]

Ben: (grunting) You're strong, but you're not invincible!
