23. "The Last Omnitrix" (season 2)

Scene opens in the remains of a crater left from the Thunder Prowler battle.

[INT - CRATER FIELD - NIGHT]

The moonlight cuts through the dust as Ben stands at the center of the destruction. His armor is cracked. Sparks flicker from his Omnitrix. Gwen and Kevin approach him carefully. Charmcaster floats down, her cape flowing in the ash-laden air.

Gwen:
(softly)
"Ben... that last transformation-it pushed you too far."

Kevin:
"You were out for almost ten minutes. Thought we lost you, man."

Ben:
(looking at the Omnitrix)
"It's changing. I don't know what's happening, but something inside it... is waking up."

Charmcaster kneels, inspecting the green pulses of the Omnitrix.

Charmcaster:
"The magical aura's shifting. The core's syncing with something ancient... alien... maybe forbidden."

Ryotora (from behind):
"The time has come. The Omnitrix no longer responds to just command or will. It responds to fate."

[INT - Tennyson Family Safehouse - UNDERGROUND]

Max Tennyson opens a secret vault. Gwen, Kevin, and Ben follow him in. A map of the multiverse flickers on a dusty holoprojector. Max pulls a box labeled: "Omnitrix Genesis Protocol."

Max:
"I never told you everything, Ben. When Azmuth first built the Omnitrix, he didn't intend it for combat. It was a key-a last resort to keep reality intact if the multiverse ever collapsed inward."

Ben:
(angry)
"So it was never about saving planets? I've been risking my life... and this whole time, it was just a multiverse patch tool?!"

Max:
"No. You made it more than that. But now, the system sees an imbalance... and it's preparing the Last Protocol. The Omnitrix has one final form-unlocked only when the end is near."

Gwen:
"What kind of end are we talking about?"

Charmcaster (gravely):
"The kind that leaves no timeline standing."

[INT - ANCIENT GALVAN FACILITY - NIGHT]

Cut to Johan Azman/Vilgax in a blackened lab. A glowing containment pod hisses open. Inside, the Iron Raptor growls low, steam rising off its shoulders.

Johan (Vilgax):
"I gave you claws. I gave you minds of war. Now... strike fear into their hearts."

The Iron Raptor slams its fists together. Sparks burst from its knuckles. With one roar, it rockets out of the lab on treads and boosters.

[EXT - PLUMBER OUTPOST - NIGHT]

Alarms blare. Plumber agents scramble. The Iron Raptor charges in like a storm, ripping through walls and vehicles. Ben, Gwen, Kevin, and Charmcaster arrive just as the base collapses behind them.

Kevin (furious):
"What is that thing?!"

Charmcaster (sensing it):
"It's fused with dark blood spells. Not just tech. It thinks. It learns."

Ben:
(activating OmniMagia Driver)
"Then let's teach it what we've got. Henshin!"

OmniMagia Driver Voice:

> "Omniversal Knight... Engage!"

[Ben transforms into Omniversal Knight Celestial Tiger.]

He charges the Iron Raptor. They clash-metal-on-energy, claws vs. fists. Each blow from the Raptor feels heavier, smarter. It counters Ben's every move.
