30. "Dystro's Mark" (season 1)

Dystro, a ruthless assassin, is hired to eliminate Ben and his team. His cold-blooded attacks and advanced technology make him a formidable foe.

Scene: Shadows of the Assassin

The underground facility is now in ruins, smoke and dust filling the air as Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Kassandra, and the rest of the team regroup. Though victorious, the battle has taken a toll on all of them. The eerie silence is broken only by the faint hum of machinery still active deep within the complex.

Ben: (glancing at the wreckage) We stopped Dystro, but he wasn't bluffing. There's more where he came from.

Gwen: (nodding, her expression somber) He wasn't just an assassin. He's part of something bigger. That tech he was using wasn't off-the-shelf. It was advanced, even for Plumber standards.

Kevin: (crossing his arms, scanning the area for lingering threats) Great. So we just fought the appetizer, and the main course is still out there somewhere.

Kassandra: (brushing dust off her jacket, her tone resolute) Whatever this is, we'll face it together. We've done it before, and we'll do it again.

Suddenly, the Omnitrix begins to glow faintly, pulsing with an unfamiliar pattern. Ben looks down at it, puzzled.

Ben: (frowning) This... this isn't normal. The Omnitrix is picking up something.

Gwen: (moving closer to examine it) Is it a signal? Maybe Dystro's tech triggered it.

Kassandra: (stepping forward) Or it could be a warning. He said there were others. Maybe they're already on their way.

The room grows tense as the pulsing glow intensifies. Ben taps a few controls on the Omnitrix, trying to decode the signal.

Ben: (grimacing) It's encrypted. Whatever it is, it's not friendly.

Before anyone can react, the glow expands, projecting a holographic map into the air. The map shows multiple locations across the galaxy, each one marked with a red icon.

Kevin: (whistling) That's a lot of bad news.

Gwen: (studying the map) These coordinates... they're scattered. Earth isn't the only target.

Kassandra: (pointing to one of the red icons) Look here. This one's moving.

The map zooms in on the moving icon, revealing a massive, dark ship traveling at high speed through space. The ship is unlike anything they've seen before-angular, menacing, and bristling with weaponry.

Ben: (staring at the hologram) That's no ordinary ship.

Voice from the shadows: (calmly) It's not. And it's headed straight for you.

The team spins around, weapons and powers at the ready, as a shadowy figure steps into the dim light. It's a woman clad in sleek, tactical armor, her face partially hidden behind a high-tech mask.

Kevin: (growling) Who are you? Another one of Dystro's friends?

Woman: (smirking beneath the mask) Friends? Hardly. Let's just say I'm here because we have a mutual enemy.

Gwen: (lowering her guard slightly) Start talking. Fast.

The woman pulls down her mask, revealing sharp features and piercing eyes.

Woman: My name is Raelyn Vex. And if you thought Dystro was dangerous, you haven't seen anything yet.

Kassandra: (narrowing her eyes) Why should we trust you?

Raelyn: (stepping closer, her tone sharp) Because if you don't, that ship out there will be the least of your worries. The group Dystro works for... they call themselves the Obsidian Order. And their reach is infinite.

Ben: (stepping forward, skeptical) Why are you telling us this? If you're not with them, why should we believe anything you say?

Raelyn: (her voice cold) Believe what you want. But I used to be one of them. And I know exactly how far they'll go to destroy you.

The team exchanges uncertain glances.

Gwen: (after a moment) If you used to be one of them, why are you here now?

Raelyn: (her gaze hardening) Because I learned the truth about the Obsidian Order. They don't just kill their targets. They erase them. Entire worlds, civilizations-gone. And now, you're in their sights.

Kevin: (clenching his fists) Let them come. We'll take them down just like we did Dystro.

Raelyn: (shaking her head) You don't get it. Dystro was a test. A distraction. The real threat is already here.

The map shifts again, zooming in on Earth. A new icon appears-a massive, red skull that pulses ominously.

Ben: (staring at the map, his voice steady) What's that?

Raelyn: (grimly) That's the Nexus. It's their command ship. And it's already on its way.

The room falls silent as the weight of her words sinks in.

Kassandra: (steeling herself) Then we stop it. Whatever it takes.

Raelyn: (nodding) You'll need all the help you can get. And that's why I'm here.

Ben: (determined) Then let's not waste any time.

As the team prepares for the coming battle, the holographic map continues to pulse, the looming threat of the Obsidian Order casting a long shadow over them.
