Frustration mounted.

"Meet me at the old clock tower at midnight. Come alone."
No signature.
My heart racing, I showed Zade.
"Trap," he growled.
Axel nodded. "Let's set a trap of our own."
Thompson provided backup.
At midnight, we surrounded the clock tower.
A figure emerged from the shadows.
Hood up, face obscured.
"Who are you?" Zade demanded.
The figure stepped forward.
"I'm someone who knows the truth."
Echo-1.
"Project Nightshade."
The figure revealed a shocking connection:
"Your family, Zade...they're involved."
Zade's eyes widened.
"What do you mean?"
The figure vanished into the night.
