We fought our way out.
Guards fell.
Victor's smile twisted.
"You'll never escape."
Zade's anger flared.
"We'll bring you down."
Axel led the way.
"Move, now!"
We sprinted through corridors.
Ryker beside us.
"Safe house is nearby."
Suddenly, gunfire erupted.
Bullets whizzed past.
We dove for cover.
"Who's shooting?" I yelled.
Axel returned fire.
"Inner Circle's goons."
Ryker's eyes widened.
"They must have tracked me."
Zade's face hardened.
"We protect Ryker."
We fought off the attackers.
Made our escape.
Reached the safe house.
Ryker led us in.
"Documents are here."
Files scattered everywhere.
Zade's eyes scanned.
"Proof of Nightshade?"
Ryker nodded.
"And more."
Axel began sorting.
"Financial records...transactions."
I found a cryptic message.
"Eclipse protocol...Project Aurora."
Zade's brow furrowed.
"What's Aurora?"
Ryker hesitated.
"I don't know."
Axel's eyes locked onto Ryker.
"Tell us everything."
Ryker took a deep breath.
"Aurora...it's a countermeasure."
Zade's face paled.
"Against Nightshade?"
Ryker nodded.
"But I don't know how."
Suddenly, Ryker's phone beeped.
"Eclipse alert...imminent."
Axel's grip tightened.
"We're running out of time."
Zade's determination burned.
"We'll stop Eclipse. Together."
But Ryker's expression faltered.
"I'm sorry, Zade...I have a secret."
