Hinata spikes the ball as it hits the other side.
"Woo! That feels great!" Hinata says excitedly.
Asahi continues to watch as Hinata and Kageyama practice one toss and spike after the other.
"We'll use our quick attack against Neko!" Hinata says as he balls his fists.
Neko? A match against Nekoma?
Asahi says as he looks at Hinata.
"It'll be a practice match on the last day of Golden Week" Daichi says from behind Asahi.
"Yikes" Asahi says as he jumps.
"What do you mean 'yikes'?" Daichi questions as Asahi makes a run for it, "hey, don't run away!".
"But you're scary when you're mad!" Asahi says as he tries to climb over the railing to get away.
"I'm not mad right now" Daichi says as he looks at Asahi, "well, Nekoma sounds like ancient history to us. Our generation doesn't have the same Karasuno-Nekoma rivalry. Although... 'Cat vs. Crow: Battle at the Garbage Dump'. We've heard stories about Neko. It'll be our first match with them in years. It does pique your interest, doesn't it?".
"But I've lost face with Suga and Nishinoya" Asahi says as he looks down.
"You're too much" Daichi says with a sigh, "you're a wimp in such a big body, as usual. What a contrast to Nishinoya".
"Can't you sugar coat your words a little?" Asahi asks as his shoulders drop.
"Don't worry. Both Suga and Nishinoya are fine" Daichi says proudly, "unlike you, they have big hearts".
"Weren't you supposed to be a kind person?" Asahi asks as he tilts his head.
"I'm kind to everyone, except you" Daichi says as he walks towards the gym, "because you're a wimp. You ditched us for a whole month, you complain about your anxiety... but those things don't matter to me. If you still like volleyball, that's reason enough to come back. Oh, yeah. We've got a guy who hopes to become the ace".
Asahi sighs as he looks down at his hand.
"Ouch!" Asahi complains as Daichi punches him in the chest.
Daichi goes inside the gym as Asahi heads back inside, ready for home.
"Suga-chan, wait for me!" Asahi hears a girl's voice call out a familiar name.
"Oh, you're here, Kirika-chan?" Sugawara asks as Asahi watches Sugawara.
"Of course I am" Kirika says happily.
"Good, good. We wanna know all the juicy details about Nekoma from the Nekoma alumni" Sugawara says as he puts his arm around Kirika.
Who's that? Suga's girlfriend?
Asahi asks as he looks at the girl.
She's really cute.
Asahi says as his face flushes red.
"Kirika-chan, I know you're headed to practice, but can I borrow you?" Takeda asks as he comes running around the corner.
"Yeah, what's up, sensei?" Kirika asks as she looks at Takeda.
"I need you for a top secret undercover mission" Takeda says seriously.
"On it!" Kirika says as she salutes, "Suga-chan, could you take my things into the gym? I'll come meet you afterwards".
"Of course" Sugawara says as Kirika hands him her things, "good luck on your mission, Spy-chan".
"Thank you!" Kirika says with a giggle as she salutes to Sugawara.
