Haikyu!! Season 1 (hk x oc)

11- Decision

"Alright" Hinata says as he ties his shoelaces, "I'm off!". 

"Have a nice time" Natsu, Hinata's little sister says as she sees him out the door. 

Hinata shuts the front door as he gets on his bike, making his way to school like he does every morning. 

Four more days till the practice match against Nekoma. In our matches from here on out... that spike... that receive... they're going to be on our side! 

Hinata says as he remembers Asahi and Nishinoya's skills from the day before. 

"It's kind of amazing" Hinata says happily, "alright. It's training camp time!". 

Hinata makes it to the school where he parks his bike, using his bike lock to secure it in place as he grabs his bag. He makes it into the school where he gets to his class, just before the bell rings for first lesson. Hinata sits there during the lesson, his whole body shaking in anticipation. 

"Hinata, you're too restless" the teacher says as she scribbles on the black board, able to hear Hinata's desk shaking as he shakes, "do you need to go to the bathroom?". 

Hinata's face flushes red as some of his classmates laugh at him. 

--- after school ---

"All here?" Ukai asks as he looks around at everyone. 

"Yeah" everyone says as they gather around. 

"The practice match against Nekoma is in four days" Ukai says as he points to the date on the whiteboard, "Inter High preliminaries will be soon thereafter. We've got no time, but you guys are full of holes. Since that's the case, there's only one way for you to win. Practice. Practice. And practice. Save the ball, even if you have to barf".

"Yeah" Hinata says as he balls his fists. 

He barfed already. 

Tanaka, Sugawara, Kirika, and Kageyama say as they look at Hinata. 

"Before practice starts today, Kirika has some information which will be vital for the practice match" Ukai says as he steps aside so Kirika can step up. 

"As most of you know, I transferred here from Nekoma High School" Kirika says as she holds a large amount of paperwork in her hands, "since I was the head of the newspaper, we followed Nekoma's volleyball clubs, both male and female, very closely. I was more involved with Nekoma's male volleyball club which means, we've got the upper hand. You've got an insider who knows each member of the volleyball club apart from the new first years very well" she says as she starts to hand out an info book to each member of the volleyball team, "inside these books, you'll find everything you need to know about the Nekoma volleyball teams' members, the coaches, and most of all, the team as a whole. But since you can take these home with you and read up on each person, I'll give you a quick overall look at each person so you can know what they're about". 

Everyone sits down as they listen intently to Kirika. 

Tetsuro Kuroo, #1, Third Year, Captain and Middle Blocker. 

Nobuyuki Kai, #2, Third Year, Vice Captain, Winger Spiker, and Opposite Hitter. 

Morisuke Yaku, #3, Third Year, Libero. 

Taketora Yamamoto, #4, Second Year, Wing Spiker, Outside Hitter, and Ace. 

Kenma Kozume, #5, Second Year, Setter. 

Shohei Fukunaga, #6, Second Year, Wing Spiker and Outside Hitter. 

"Out of everyone on this list, I know the most about their #1 and #5" Kirika says as she looks at her notes, "I was friends with them from elementary school. We went to elementary, middle and high school together. I still talk to them frequently. I don't know a lot about the first years, but according to Tetsu-chan, they're good. Kenma-chan never really tells me much, but that's just how he is. I won't go into details on their skills, but it's all in the notes for you to read in your own time".
