"I'm sorry" Hinata says as he bows to Tanaka who gets off the bus, "I'm sorry, Tanaka-san".
"Like I said, don't worry about it" Tanaka says as he puts his sweatpants into a bag that Kirika holds out for him, "never mind me. Are you alright?".
"Yes, I rested a little on the way" Hinata says as he looks at Tanaka, "I feel better now that I'm off of the bus.
"I see. Well, good" Tanaka says with a smile, "we're counting on your for today's match" he says as he pats Hinata on the back, "do it just like the three on three. Let me spike freely like that".
"Tanaka" Sugawara whispers shouts, "don't pressure him".
"What? What's that?" Tanaka asks as he looks at Sugawara.
"I'll... I'll... I'll do my best-" Hinata says as he stomach growls, "I'm going to go to the bathroom".
"Oh, way to go, Tanaka-chan" Kirika says as she rolls her eyes, "I'll go with you, Shoyo-chan".
"First the top, then the bottom!" Tanaka says as he starts to laugh, "you're a busy guy".
"There he goes again. How pathetic" Kageyama says as he pipes up, "I'm going to knock some courage into him".
"Hey! What are you thinking?" Sugawara says as he grabs Kageyama, "that kind of thing won't work on Hinata".
"But we won't know till we try it" Kageyama says as he rolls up his sleeves.
"Back off, meatball!" Kirika yells as she looks back at Kageyama, pointing at him.
"Did she just call me 'meatball'?" Kageyama asks taken aback.
"She calls everyone that. Don't be offended by it" Tanaka says as he pats Kageyama's back.
"Tanaka! Keep this simpleton away from Hinata" Sugawara says as he pushes Kageyama towards Tanaka.
"Right" Tanaka says as he puts his arm around Kageyama.
Daichi looks at the whole scene going on before he looks at Hinata and Kirika worriedly.
"Hey, that Karasuno team that's coming today... isn't that where you know who is?" Yahaba, a second year from Aoba Johsai's volleyball team asks as he and another teammate walk around the school campus.
"Who?" Kindaichi, a first year at Aoba Johsai, and Kageyama's teammate when they were Kitagawa Daiichi asks as he looks at Yahaba.
"'The King of the Court'" Yahaba says dramatically, "you went to the same junior high as him, didn't you, Kindaichi?".
"Oh, you mean Kageyama?" Kindaichi says, recalling his past team captain, "he's no big deal. Sure, he was head and shoulders above the rest in skill, but he's just not cut out to be a team player, at all. He's too egocentric".
"I see... I guess since he went to Karasuno, his strength as a player must be a thing of the past" Yahaba says as he rubs the back of his head, "besides, all I know about Karasuno is that their manager is a beauty".
"Are you serious?" Kindaichi asks shocked.
"That's right. She's kind of sexy" Yahaba says as he remembers seeing Kiyoko last time, "oh yeah, and there's a riffraff kind of guy there, too. He's got a shaved head, and an unpleasant look in his eyes. He looks real stupid".
"Hmm?" Tanaka says as he peeks his head around the corner.
"U-um..." Yahaba says as the rest of Karasuno come around the corner.
"Don't underestimate us too much" Tanaka says as he stands in front of the two of them, "or else we'll eat you alive".
"You shouldn't threaten them like that, Tanaka-san" Tsukishima says with a smirk as he stands next to Tanaka, reading the expressions on Kindaichi and Yahaba's faces, "look at what you did. You scared these poor elites. Now I feel sorry for them".
