    "W-wait! Of course I care! I'm just surprised!" Lumine snapped out of her trance.

    "Surprised about what? How incredibly foolish I was back then?" Wanderer sighed, "you don't have to hide it, you know. Just admit it already."

    "Why are you-" Lumine started, but breathed a sigh of relief as she was interrupted by Paimon.

    "PAIMON'S EARS ARE ABOUT TO EXPLODE!" Paimon shouted, "PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT COMPLICATED THINGS! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A CALMING TIME!"

    Just then, the waiter arrived with their tea. Wanderer raised the hot cup to his lips and took a sip, nodding in satisfaction.

    Paimon did the same, and immediately spat out the contents in her mouth. She stared at the dark-green liquid stirring inside her cup for a moment before speaking.

    "Paimon doesn't get how he can possibly drink this with a straight face." Paimon said, irritated.

    Lumine took a small sip, and her face scrunched up a bit, but then relaxed.

    "I get it-even though it's...superior to other drinks in the bitter area, it calms you down." Lumine explained. "I don't know how to put it into words, but, it's just...that feeling."

    Nahida nodded.

    "Here's a suggestion on the description of this tea; Ahrmph." Nahida said, somehow keeping a straight face.

    "Sorry?" Lumine leaned in to hear better.

    "Ahrmph."

    "Er-yeah, yes, actually. That's exactly the way to describe it."

    After their drinks, they headed back into the city, where Nahida offered them two rooms; Paimon and Lumine in one room, Wanderer in the other. (As the Dendro Archon herself, Nahida can freely do basically whatever she wants in her cities.)

    As they settled in, Paimon laid down next to Lumine on the bed. She mumbled to Lumine;

    "That sure was eventful...Paimon's hungry...." Then drifted off to sleep.

                                                              *                          *                        *

    BANG! BANG! BANG!

    A loud knocking came from the door. Lumine's first instinct was that it was Wanderer.

    "Wanderer?"

    The door slowly creaked open.
