Lumine's eyes slowly opened, her pupil readjusting to the dim light. She immediately sat up, and looked around. She couldn't see anything. She pinched herself-she's still alive, and is definitely conscious. She was starting to panic when Paimon sqealed.

"Wahh! Where are we? What is this? Is anyone else here? Paimon's too hungry to die! Wahh!" Paimon started to wander around.

"Hey! Paimon!" Lumine shouted, and Paimon floated towards her voice. "You're not alone! But...unfortunately, I don't know where we are, either."

Paimon kept floating until they bumped into each other. Paimon hung onto Lumine as if she was her life support, refusing to let go no matter what Lumine said.

"Okay-alright, Paimon. We need to try and find the others." Lumine peeled Paimon off her arm.

The two of them started to walk around (Paimon floated around) as their vision slowly returned to them. Now they could see a small river, beautiful and vibrant trees everywhere, and adorable little pink slimes. The same one that Wanderer had turned into. They kept wandering until they heard a familiar voice.

"Paimon? Lumine? Wanderer?" A small, female voice called out. Lumine recognized it, and started going after the voice.

"We're here! Continue making noise! We're coming!" Lumine shouted, picking up her pace. Paimon could barely keep up with her.

Finally, they slowed down and approached the child.

"Nahida, we're here," Lumine panted, "but do you have any idea where we might be right now? Paimon's getting really desperate for dessert."

"I have a guess at where we are, but it might not be accurate." Nahida said.

Someone made some noise behind us, so Lumine whirled around to see who it was. A man with brown hair in a loose ponytail and dark clothes, wearing a red jacket was pounding a slender piece of metal with a big hammer.

    Next to him stood Wanderer.

Lumine noticed how Wanderer's gaze never left the blacksmith, watching his every move as if it was the most entertaining thing ever.

"Nicely done, Niwa." Wanderer said, his eyes brightening up at the sight of the blacksmith's newly finished sword. "I'm sure that could sell on the market for a hefty price."

This so-called Niwa just laughed, and patted Wanderer on his back. Wanderer looked confused, but laughed along with him. But as he reached out to feel Niwa's shoulder, Niwa disappeared. Lumine pinched herself again. She might be hallucinating.

"Haha, Niwa, y-NIWA? NO! COME BACK!" Wanderer shouted, clawing the air, as if Niwa might suddenly come back. Lumine suddenly felt a pang of sadness wash over her.

"Kabukimono?" Nahida said softly. Who the heck's Kabukimono?

Wanderer snapped back his head to face us.

"Who are-oh. Kusanali? Why are you here?" Wanderer said in a bitter tone, "go away. You're to not ever barge into my personal space again."

Paimon fumed upon hearing those words.

"Barge into your personal space? What do you mean, personal space? We don't even know where we are!" Paimon yelled at him. Lumine wanted to kick Paimon out of the air.

Instead, Lumine just shot her a look. Paimon instantly quieted down.

"Hahaha," Wanderer laughed, "it'd be a more appropriate question to ask why you're here-no, how you're here."
