"Pres ito pa daw." Jerold hand me the papers that needs to be reviewed.
This is too frustrating, all of my proposals were declined and those approved are required to be revised because the new president saw something unnecessary.
"Okay ka pa?" Jerold asked and sit in front of me.
"Yeah. I'm good." I answered shortly. Jerold and Arch are my best friends even sometimes we fought about something, we still care for each other.
"Yung issue anong gagawin?" I turn my gaze to him and sighed.
I honestly don't know and I'm still waiting for Ember's action. I'm expecting her to do what I have said but until now she's not doing anything.
"Pres! Ang daming media sa labas." Arch hysterically said.
I furrowed my brows, seriously? Aren't they going to stop this nonsense issue?
"Pres san ka pupunta? Haharapin mo sila?" Jerold asked and I just shook my head. How can I face them? What should I tell them?
"Dito ka na lang kami na ang bahala." Jerold said, I nod at him and let them go.
I never expect this to happen, I've been extra careful pero bakit nangyari to?
Should I face them now? But knowing Ember's dad he'll not going to accept us, not even in my dreams.
I tried to call Ember to tell her about this, I have to trust her. I called her multiple times but she did not pick up the call. Okay? What's wrong with her? Where is she?
I called Brie hoping that she's with Ember.
After few rings Brie pick up the call.
"Bakit Pres? Kausap ko ang magaling kong pinsan."
So, it means she's not with Ember?
"Ahh I just wanna ask you if Ember is with you?" I tried.
"Wala ba sa opisina mo? Sabi niya kanina diyan siya dederetso eh. Baka naman papunta na, o sige na tinatawag na ako ng pinsan ko." She ended the call and I just sighed.
Iniwan na ba talaga ako ni Ember sa gulong ito? I hate that thought! Pero yun ang paulit ulit pumapasok sa isip ko. Where is she?
I call her once again but just like earlier she did not pick up the call. This is so ridiculous!
"Pres umalis na ang media, pero mas mabuti sigurong wag ka munang lalabas? Anytime pwede silang bumalik eh." Arch suggested.
San naman ako pupunta? I don't have any place to go with.
"Asan si Ember?" Jerold asked.
"I don't know." I hopelessly answered.
How can I know? We're rarely see each other for almost one week now because of the issue. We typically meet here at my office but it was two days since the last time she visited me. I don't even know what she's doing to solve this issue.
"Gusto mo na bang umuwi? Pwede ka naming tulungang makalabas dito?" Arch asked but I refused.
I have a lot of works to do and I have examination later so I don't have extra time to absent.
"Laman ka na ng usapan lately. Yung iba okay sa idea pero yung iba puro negatives ang sinasabi." Arch said, it's okay with me if they talk negatively about me as long as they don't interfere with my life.
"Sobrang sikat naman kasi ng girlfriend mo." Jerold commented.
"At dahil din sa tulong ni Aria yun." It's Arch.
