47- Found Him

"I've got it," Taehyung shouts and Jungkook and you ran to him.

It has been more than 2 months after the attack on Jungkook. He's fine now, much better than before but he still feels pain and his wound hasn't recovered properly for some reason. Maybe because he doesn't listen to you and keeps moving and doesn't rest well, that is taking much more time for him to heal from this wound.

"It was your brother, Austin aiming that day that's for sure, but I don't think that the bullet really came out from his gun, look at this footage... I found this after a lot of struggles so I've already made 5 copies of it in different devices and hard disks,"

Taehyung rotated the laptop a little for you two to watch the cctv footage that looks like it's taken from a farther building but it's too much zoomed out so it's pixels expanded way too much not giving a hd picture which was hard to view.

"Now look at 2 minutes 44 seconds, the gun sound comes but Austin's gun was still moving in air, and he didn't even pull the trigger, and moreover, there's no firing light coming from his gun either because it's too dark so there must be some kind of light coming out from it which isn't there that clearly means that he didn't shoot Jungkook that night..."

Taehyung told and you just watched the CCTV over again to be sure that whatever he's saying is true.

You needed to believe because whatever happened, you still somewhere loved your brother after so much because you simply cannot unlove him so easily... You still had the soft corner for him and seeing this footage was like a stress buster because you didn't want Austin to become evil at any cost.

You wanted him to be fine and wanted to believe that he didn't do anything wrong to you both because he made you believe throughout your life that he supported you and Jungkook in all ways.

"Thank God... Thank God that he didn't do this but then... Who shot in the air if not Austin?"

"Correction - the shooter's bullet wasn't shot in air. We saw that Austin's gun was aiming at Jungkook but now since we know that Austin didn't shoot... There was still someone who did fire that night and that shooter didn't miss his shot either." Taehyung told and you got shocked hearing that because it was you who came in between to save Jungkook and got into the accident from that truck then how was the aim at you?

You looked at Jungkook with confusion and surprise after hearing the new information. You have been thinking that the shooter might have missed his shot that night because Jungkook was at his aim but you came in between and he might have missed the shot.

Jungkook coughed before speaking.

"You don't have your past memories with you that's why I guess I missed telling you that... I was shot that night as well... The shooter didn't miss his shot. Although... He was pointing at my head that night but I think the only change that night was... That he shot me on the arm instead," Jungkook told and sat down on the chair with a thud in shock.

"WHY THE HELL YOU NEVER TOLD ME ALL THIS JUNGKOOK?" You screamed at him who stood with his head lowered in front of you like a criminal and Taehyung just looked at you both from the side.

You tried to calm down by breathing and it helped too.

Taehyung hesitantly passed you a glass of water and you drank it furiously trying to calm down.

After a while, you felt okay but still... The new information was too much to take in.

"I think... Now we need to find out who the other person was who shot at Jungkook that night because now it's pretty clear that Jungkook was definitely the aim... But just not by Austin, Jungkook's shooter was someone else."
