1964

"Hello?"

I sit in the limo, rolling down the window as soon as my driver pulls out of the studio where we were shooting our music video. It was a hot day in Los Angeles, probably our hottest summer at the time.

My shirt and jeans were sticking to me, I had changed in a rush to get home. I wanted to make Y/N dinner, I haven't seen her much in the past week. She's been busy filming for My Fair Lady with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison. She was usually already gone by the time I woke up. The only time I got to see her was when she wakes me up in the middle of the night to make love then when I wake up, it's like a dream.

It's been a little lonely in our Beverly Hills home but it's not like I haven't been throwing myself in work either. We were working on our third full length album and we've been shooting two music videos back to back.

Long story short, Y/N and I have been exhausted lately but I couldn't hate her for it when I was barely home too.

I twist open the lid of the champagne bottle that was in the back of the driver's seat. I grab a glass and balance the car phone in between my cheek and shoulder while trying not to spill champagne on the seats in my attempt to pour it into a glass. "Hello? Jisoo?"

There's rustling and then what sounds like an ambulance siren. "Is everything alright?" I shoot up in my seat, worried that Y/N must've been hurt while on set. She, Jisoo and Bernard were working on a new film together. Hollywood Today predicts that it will be one of the biggest films of 1964 and I certainly wasn't going to disagree. The film had Audrey Hepburn and three of the biggest executives in Hollywood, of course it was going to take home Oscars and I was certain that Y/N would win another Oscar for the film. "Hi, Roseanne? You there?" I detangle the cord and take a sip of my drink.

"I'm here, why did you call? I was filming all day."

"Y/N knows."

I drop the champagne glass on the floor and it spills all over my feet and jeans. I feel the blood drain from my face.

"I also know. Why didn't you tell anyone? Why didn't you tell your wife?" I could hear the hurt in Jisoo's voice but all I could focus on was the sound of sirens in the background. "Is Y/N okay?" I ask in a panic and Jisoo sighs on the other end, "yes, she's fine. The ambulance isn't for her."

"Then who the hell is it for?"

"Bernard. Who else?"

I urge for Richard to hurry up, he agrees without any complaints.

"....how did you guys find out?"

The sound of sirens grow quieter and I assume that Jisoo had stepped away from all the commotion.

It's taken a year for Y/N to find out that I was assaulted on the night of my first Grammy win. Since that night, I've turned to alcohol to nurse some of my wounds all while trying to be a good wife.

It's been hard.

No, it's been a fucking nightmare.

The first few times Y/N and I made love after that night, I would flinch and she would immediately ask what's wrong. She would ask if I was okay, if she had hurt me and she's so fucking sweet, gentle and patient that whenever I broke down crying half naked and aroused, she didn't push me for more and instead wrapped me in her arms until I stopped weeping and my lust and love for her overtook every other emotion in my body and we fell into a pit of ecstasy.

"We were taking a break from filming a scene. She had ordered for Audrey and Rex to take a break since we've been up for hours then Bernard thinks it's a good idea to raid the bar that's set up for the movie. By the time we're all back and ready to shoot again, he comes stumbling in drunk and starts talking about you. He went on and on about how beautiful you are and Y/N tried ignoring it but by the third take he started talking about how your wife isn't the only one who has tasted you," I can imagine the state Jisoo's in right now. She's probably scrunching up her eyebrows and reaching for a cigarette.
