"Thank goodness you're okay!" The worried boy hugged Mayu tightly. She blushed slightly and tilted her head. "Shige-Nii?" He made a gasp and quickly let go of the girl. Mayu giggled and blushed. "I didn't really mind the hug..." He chuckled and they both started to investigate the classroom.
A few minutes later they concluded there wasn't much there. "There's just a old crowbar here..." Mayu nodded. "I also found a key!" She pulled it out and smiled. They were in a somewhat small classroom. There were about five tables scattered around the area. She walked over to a door in the corner and attempted to open it. She sighed. "Locked...." Morishige pointed to the key in her hand. "Try the key." She did as he asked and the door clicked and easily opened. "Un-locked!" He chucked and they both walked out into the hallway. The hallway had an eerie presence to it, and it was hard to breathe. Mayu walked down the hallway, but tripped on something. She landed hard on the ground. "O-Ouch!" She turned back to Morishige and screamed. "A-AAHHHHHH!" Mayu saw the thing she had tripped on. It was a dead body. Morishige kneeled by her side as she pointed to the corpse. "A-A-A dead body! I just tipped over a d-dead body!" He hugged her and pet her hair as she huddled into his chest. "It's going to be okay, Suzume..." They got up and she wiped her tears away. "If this is a prank... It isn't funny anymore!"
Mayu started to walk the opposite direction when she realized Morishige wasn't beside her. She turned around and saw him kneeling next to the dead body. Why is he next to the corpse?! Mayu didn't know that she was shaking like crazy. "Shig?" She asked. "C-Can we go that way?" She pointed in front of her. Morishige was about to take out his phone, when he realized what he was about to do. And that Mayu was staring at him. N-No... Why was I about to do that?! He gulped, trying to think of a plan B. He saw an ID tag on the female's corpse and picked it up. It wasn't a student from Kisaragi. The tag read:

'EMI URABE'

"I just wanted to see what the name was." He lied. "What's her name?" Mayu asked, not moving. "Urabe Emi." "Poor soul..." Mayu said, a bit relieved. I thought Shige-nii lost his mind... She thought. Wait... Why did I just thought of that?! She shook her head to rid of that thought. Morishige put the ID tag next to Emi and they both walked away. What the hell?! Was I about to take a picture of that corpse??! He remembered that he would slowly lose his sanity if he keeps using the stones. Mayu interrupted his thoughts. "Shige-Nii? Can I ask you a quick question?" She asked as they turned around a corner. "Sure thing, Suzume. What is it?" She paused for a moment as if trying to figure out what to say. "Um.. When we saw that dead body... Why were you so unusually calm? I mean you didn't even make a reaction!" Morishige gasped and stopped walking. Why was I so calm...
"I-I don't know..." That was the only thing he could manage to say. "Shige-Nii..." She looked down. She looked back up and saw he wasn't paying attention to her. He was staring blankly at a wall. There was a dark smear of red on it-like someone rubbed ketchup on it. She shook Morishige's arm, snapping him out of it. "O-Oh!" He put his hand on his head. "S-Sorry Suzume.." Mayu was concerned. "Are you sure you're okay..?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." Mayu crossed her arms and made a defeated sigh. "F-Fine.." She walked over to the wall and slightly brushed her hand on it. "This is weird though.." Suddenly, she felt huge waves of pain shoot through her body. "E-EYAAAAAH!" She screamed as she fell to the ground, holding her stomach. She saw images in her head. He felt like she went to the school before. And she died from it. Morishige ran next to her and held her in his arms. This is the wall where Mayu died. "M-My stomach..." She quietly said, her eyes closing. I can't tell him about these memories! She teared up.
The boy wiped away her tears, frowning. "Please forgive me..." He pulled up her shirt, revealing her stomach. "S-Shig...?!" She blushed up. "Shh.. Don't talk.." He said, tracing his fingers over a dark red-purple bruise. Mayu flinched in response. "That hurts..." He sighed and rolled her shirt back down. "Luckily we're near the infirmary. You are going to lie down in there." He walked inside and placed her on the bed. He kneeled down next to her and held her hand. She fell asleep instantly. Soon after he closed his eyes too..

Morishige woke up. "?" How long was I asleep for? 3o minutes? An hour? He glanced over to the sleeping Mayu and got up. He rolled up her shirt again and gasped. The bruise is now black as night. He staggered backwards. This air... Was it always this hard to breathe in? He walked over to the door and tried to open it. "Dammit!" It was locked. Almost as if someone simply drew the door on the wall. He heard scribbling noises. "The students are going to be so happy!" A woman's voice echoed throughout the room. Morishige turned around and saw two spirits appear. A girl with one eye and another spirit with half a head missing. They were looking at Mayu. "Your friend was fun to play with last time. Mind if we play with her again?" The girl with one eye asked.
