Again, this chapter is going to be different from the original written chapter. I've decided to make the ending completely different too. These last two chapters are going to be longer.

The boy woke up in a completely different room; probably a whole different building. There were no windows inside the small room. There was nothing except the bed that the boy was lying on, and another bed next to it. He didn't know the time, but Morishige's stomach told him it was now way past dinner time. "Where.....?" He mumbled, trying to look around. The lights weren't really working, and the room was quite dark. It had a depressing and morbid tone to it. He tried to move off the bed. Something kept him from moving. He looked down to his arms and legs and saw that there were restraints around them. He sighed, finally realizing where he was. Great.. I'm in the nut house. And I still have to get the stones back from my mother. Damn obstacle.. He thought, unsure on what to do. "...Well, at least I'm restrained to a somewhat comfortable bed." Morishige mumbled, trying to amuse himself since he really didn't know what else to do.
The door to the room opened quietly, making a slight creaking noise. A boy about his age walked inside. "U-Um.." He walked a little closer to the teens field of vision. Morishige didn't say anything back to him. The unknown boy seemed to be about 5'9". He had brown hair and was wearing blue hospital clothes. He seemed like the nervous and shy type. "W-Well the doctors did say I would be getting a roommate.. H-Hello, I am Kai.." He looked down and moved his fingers around. "W-What's your name?" He looked back up to the restrained boy. Morishige groaned. He looked at the boy, then glanced over to the restrains. He made a loud and fake-sounding cough. Kai didn't seem to get the hint and he just looked at Morishige with a light smile on his face. Ugh, Can't he not take a hint, or is this kind of sight a normal day for him? Morishige sighed, deciding to finally talk to the boy. Well, they were roommates now. Might as well say something.. "..Before I introduce myself..could you take these restrains off from me?"Kai gasped, "A-Ah! R-Right! How rude of me. I should have taken them off when I first walked in. You... Won't attack me....r-right? Because they usually restrain the dangerous ones.."
"Promise. I won't do anything to you." Morishige made a light smile to try to gain the brunette's trust. Kai nodded and walked over to the blue haired boy and unlocked the restraints on his arms and legs. Morishige sat up on the bed and rubbed his arms to get the feel back in them. "So, what's your name?" Kai asked again, tilting his head. He seems to be trying to get used to the presence of his new roommate. "Just call me Morishige." Kai noticed the bandages around Morishige's neck and pointed to them. "What happened?"
The boy noticed where the other was pointing to and put his hand on his neck. It was still sore and tender. He flinched and moved his hand away with a sigh. "I guess you can say a suicide attempt. That's all I really want to say at the moment. I'm still trying to wrap my head around on what happened." Kai then looked to the bed. "M-May I sit down next to you?" The blue haired boy shrugged. "Sure. Might as well have some friends here.." The brunette sat down next to the other boy and lightly smiled. Right, I can't get close to this person. I need to find a telephone and call someone to bring the stones here to me! I doubt my parents would bring them. Right after what I did to mother... The boy thought, remembering attacking his own mother a few hours before. He needed to find a phone and call one of his friends to bring them. But who would be willing? Who am I actually close to..? I guess Mochida or Kishunuma are my closest friends other than Mayu... I wonder if they know I'm in a place like this.. He shook off his long thoughts and looked at Kai next to him. "Do you know where a phone might be?" The brunette nodded and stood up. "I'll show you where it's located, I-I guess." He started to walk out the room, and Morishige stood up and followed the boy into the hallway. They both walked into a larger room. The walls were a light blue and the floors were wooden. It was a creepy yet peaceful feel to it. There was a TV with three couches surrounding it. In one side was a bookshelf containing some novels and manga on it. The other side of the room had some tables and chairs with board games on them. There were a few other kids sitting on the chairs and couches in the room. In the back of the room was a desk with a nurse sitting at it. There was a door next to her. Most likely the only way out of the building. "Just talk to her and she'll let you use the phone." Kai lightly smiled, pointing to the blonde nurse that was sitting at the desk. Shige nodded and walked up to her. "Um, may I use the telephone for a few minutes." The blonde haired nurse looked up from her book to him. "Sure, you have 5 minutes per day though." She picked up a telephone from a holder and handed it to him. He quickly called Satoshi Mochida. Within a few rings he answered with a yawn. "Hello? Don't you know how late-" The taller boy sighed.
"It's Morishige.."
"Oh.. Hey! How are you dealing with Mayu's passing? We heard it happened..."
"Not good, I suppose.. I'm in a mental institution. Well anyways, I need you to go over to my house and get something for me... You know where I live, right?"
"Yup. What is this item?"
"Uh..A cracked blue-ish stone..."
Satoshi chuckled, and covered his mouth so that his friend wouldn't hear. "Pffft-Okay, okay. Sorry, I shouldn't be laughing. I'll be as quick as I can."
They both hung up and Morishige gave the phone back to the nurse. He walked over to Kai, who was sitting on a couch. He sat down next to him. "My friend is dropping something off, so it might be best if we stay in this room."***
Satoshi Mochida was on his way to his friend's house to find this stone of his. Since it was past midnight, he had to change out of his pyjamas and into some normal clothes. He brought his school bag with himself for a plan B incase if he can't get inside Morishige's house.
He reached the household and knocked on the door. Please hope I didn't wake anyone up.. He thought as he waited for someone to answer. A minute or so later the door opened up which revealed a tall man. He didn't say anything. Must be his father.. Scary looking.. The shorter boy thought to himself, looking up to the man. "U-Um.. I am Sakutaro's classmate.."
"He's not here."
"I-I know, sir. Um... He called me a few minutes ago wanting me to drop off his schoolwork." He made an awkward smile and showed his schoolbag.
The man sighed and widened the door. "Don't take long and close the door after yourself." He walked down the hallway and into the family room. Satoshi closed the door behind himself and took off his shoes. He walked up the stairs and looked into the family room. There was a tallish woman sitting on the couch with a large padded bandaid-thing around her neck. What exactly happened..? He shook off the thought and walked down the hallway on the second floor to find his friend's room. He opened the door to his room and walked inside. He placed the notes that he copied for Morishige and placed it on his bed. On the bed was some neatly folded clothes with a cellphone and rock on top. "Found it.." He smiled, picking up the rock. For some reason, he picked up the cellphone right after. Why do I want to open it...? The boy thought, opening the flip phone. It wasn't turned off and it immediately brought Satoshi to the photo section. "Why do I feel like I'm missing something important...?" He mumbled to himself, clicking one of the photos. He was brought to a picture of guts splattered against a wall. "Uwah!!" He threw the phone on the bed. "W-Why does he have that?! W-What is that?! No...Mayu?!" Satoshi's head started to pound and he bent down, holding it. I-I've been there before! T-That's Heavenly Host! Mayu, Seiko, Suzumoto and Morishige all died there! He quickly stood up and put the rock in his pocket. He ran out of the house as fast as he can and took a bus to where his friend was located. He reached the building and ran inside. He eventually ended up inside of a larger room. He found Morishige and another kid sitting next to each other.***
Kai looked behind himself and saw another brunette. He poked Morishige in the arm. "I think that's your friend." The taller boy flinched and looked behind himself. "Hey." Satoshi walked in front of the couch and grabbed Shige on the shoulders. "You're not crazy! I remember Heavenly Host! I can't believe I forgot.." Satoshi pulled out the stones and handed them to the boy. The taller boy just looked at his friend, wide eyed. "H-How...? How can you remember...?" He stood up and hugged Satoshi. "Thanks." He quickly ran back to his room, leaving Satoshi and Kai all alone. Satoshi smiled and walked away, waving to Kai. "See you."
Morishige walked into his room and closed the door after him. He pulled out the blue-grey stone. Why is it like this though? Perhaps it represents my sanity? He shrugged and held it close to himself. A moment later, like usual he got dizzy. But this time, his head was pounding. He screamed in pain before falling to the ground. The stone cracked some more.
