𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨 strolled through the isles of Walmart, buying supplies for the sleepover Juliana had invited her to, with a couple of her other friends. Since she hadn't been out in a while, she thought, why not? She was in need for a night of fun.

"I knew I recognized that face from somewhere." She heard from behind her as she searched for her hot Cheetos, causing her to turn around, a face that she knew all too well making her stop dead in her tracks.

"Amazi? Is that you?" Confirmed by his large grin, it was indeed him.

It was Amazi Burnes, her best friend from high school. The guy she hadn't seen in four years, now standing in front of her. Amazi had moved away to Atlanta and went to Morehouse College.

Cairo pushed her buggy forward, now standing right in front of him.

"I can't believe it's you! You got so tall, and your hair looks so different. I didn't even realize it was you at first." She laughed, just as surprised as he was.

"You not the only one. You look good, though. I thought I was tripping, for real. Yo' ass used to be a lil' stick back in high school," He chuckled, and she rolled her eyes playfully.

Cairo really didn't expect to run into an old memory today. She took a few steps, latching her arms around Amazi's neck, hugging him gently.

"I really can't believe you're here. It's nice to see you again." She spoke, her voice still thin, as if she couldn't really grasp the fact that he was in her presence.

"I'm back in town for a lil' bit. My mama and daddy still here, so I came ta' visit them. It's good to see you too Cai." He shrugged, a sly smile on his face.

"I, uh, I haven't been back over here in a while. Just knew this Walmart has everything, and I needed to grab my favorite snacks. So, you visiting your parents?" She asked, placing her hand on her hip.
