Six Months Later.

𝐊𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐫 sat on the couch in his large living room, quietly putting all of his pre-rolled blunts into a Ziplock bag. The TV was playing SpongeBob SquarePants lowly, but he wasn't really paying attention to that, his mind mainly on his upcoming album, and Cairo.

Shaking him out of his thoughts, Syani came walking slowly into the living room, yawning lowly. She had on a pink pajama set and the bonnet her mom had a friend make for her. She climbed on the couch, sitting next to him.

"Daddy, what you doing?" She asked softly, looking down at the bag as Kazimir closed it quickly so the smell wouldn't hit her.

"Nothing, wassup mama? You good?" He looked at her, placing the bag in his duffel bag he was going to take upstairs soon.

"I miss Cai." She admitted, her voice barely above a whisper as she played with the strings on his hoodie.

That threw him all the way off, honestly. He hadn't heard her name out loud in a while, and he didn't think Syani would even remember her after so long.

"You miss her?" He repeated, his voice low as he pulled her to sit in his lap, and she nodded against his chest.

"Yes. She always take me for ice cream, and she make good pancakes. Renember daddy?" Syani tried to pronounce the word, looking up at her with her big brown eyes.

"Yeah, baby." Kazimir smirked, and she rested her head against his arm.

"Why we not see her no more?" Syani continued with her interview, playing with her fingers.

"Uh, she been busy, tink. She got a lot of work." He lied, scratching his neck. He didn't have a good or honest answer for his daughter, that was exactly why he hated introducing people who he didn't know would stay around.
