Lois "Good morning everyone, welcome to another podcast episode. Today I am joined by Steve Trevor. Now forgive me but I am confused as to what your title is? Captain? Colonel? Lieutenant?"

Steve "Right now I'm colonel. Yes I am younger than most for the bracket but I was given this opportunity due to my service and loyalty to Wonder Woman, a woman I am proud to call my friend"

L "Congratulations and well deserved. So with my other guests, we start from the start. So how does that look like for you?"

S "Well my origins are pretty stale. Grew up with a typical family, joined the military and took the jobs no one wanted. From staying late to help my friend with the aviation repairs, to leading field missions before I was legally recognized to do so. It earned me early promotions and the pay was good.  But I swore to be an honest soldier. To not give into corruption nor use government powers to slaughter. I disagreed with higher ups on many occasions and more than my job was threatened. But I stood my ground. Then Diana entered my life and we had each others backs since"

L "So as I hear it, your employee Becca is actually the reason for you meeting and for Diana to come here"

S " Indeed, Becca was a great pilot who worked well with me. Still does infact. Her life was rough and she needed a job, so I offered for her to work for me. She was phenomenal and I tasked her to help fight demons flying over the Meditteranean. Then she crashed into Diana's home and the story you well know started"

L "The story never gets old. So your role in Diana's life has been her friend and her ally. What else?"

S "Eh you got it nailed. She has been there for me more than her. She helped me with some self-realization- like humanity she preached peaceful ideals, she helped me reconcile with my kids after my ex-wife left town, she told me to stop burying myself in work and to live a life"

L "Words of wisdom. So it seems you are proud of her impact on your life"

S "I am"

L "Also seems you conserve your views and opinions. Do you not talk much?"

S "Well outside work not really. I phone my kids every week but my friends have busy lives"

L "They have busy lives, or you?"

S "Ok you got me. You sound like Diana"

L "Haha"

L "Well to break this awkward silence, I guess we should conclude with my final point which actually adds onto the awkwardness. From what I hear, you and Diana may have had a spark when Becca was temporarily dead. If you are comfortable speaking, lets close this off on an open note"

S " Its true, I was taken aback by Diana. I was heartbroken when Becca died but when I got to go on a mission with Diana something took over me. She was mouring Becca and was blind so I did all I can to help. Y'know, print all files in braille and ensure the doors were open. But on our mission, we pretended to be a couple. She was in disguse as my date. It was pretty awkward but going on that mission, I started to fall in love with her. I always had a small crush on her and we got a coffee after the mission. We talked and we made a move. We were gonna kiss but Diana and I hesitated. I blamed myself but Diana supported me. She admitted she may have had a spark too. But we agreed to stay friends. And shortly after our Becca returned, I had the opportunity to visit Themyscira, the first man to do so, and I attended Diana and Becca's wedding. It was beautiful"

L "See you can open up and talk. Do you plan on visiting Themyscira again?"

S "The laws there are strict. Queen Hippolyta works in accordance with the goddesses so I don't think I'll be visiting anytime soon. I respect it though. Its an island of all women guided by goddesses"

L "Indeed. I was gonna close off but speaking of gods and goddesses, how did you react to that?"

S "I was baptized and raised Catholic but I wasn't a good Christian. I didn't really attend church much and sorta just lived my life without god. But learning Greek myth was real was a rollercoaster. So maybe I should try and reconnect with spirits above"

L "Maybe I should do the same. Well thanks for joining"

S "No, thank you. This helped me"
